  2. hi, can anyone help on the correct finish for my bike? I am in the process of restoring this bike and am just renovating the font end but cannot find any original pictures to find out if the yokes were originally satin black or gloss black?? Has anyone got any pictures from an original catalogue I could use to find out once and for all???? cheers

  4. Hi guys, does anyone have any tips on how to clean up the outside of carbs? Mine are not too bad, but since I've had to remove them to change a clutch cable I thought I'd try to clean them up. Cheers Garry
  5. Ok cheers, when you search can you find your 1983 model? I can only find 1982 then it skips to 1985? Or am I beeing an idiot????
  6. Thanks Tony, I managed to find the section but you can't seem to put in 1983? I put in 1985 and it has come up with what looks like the right thing! I may wait until monday and give them a call to confirm that it is the right thing I'm going to buy!! Mine is a standard white and red bike, its in pretty good shape but I'd like to improve it over the summer if I can, I will probably get the body panels/tank renovated as they are going a bit off colour, but its a great bike.   7. Hi Tony, thanks for the info, the bike is a 1983 model. I have just looked up the fowlers website but i can't seem to find the parts bit of it?? where did you find the parts? sorry i'm not the greatest computer person!! cheers Garry

  9. Hi all, I've managed to blow my exhaust baffle out the back of the exhaust, I couldn't stop to get it as I was in the M25 at the time!! Does anyone know where I can get one? Cheers Garry
  10. Hi mate, yeh they are great bikes, I'll post a picture of mine when I can work out how to do it!! Yeh the LC's are seriously expensive these days, when I think what I did with mine in the past!!! What do you ride?

Just joined the site today, hoping to get some useful information and tips for my 1991 FZR1000 which I'm trying to locate some parts for to finish off and then I'm looking for a RD350LC to buy I don't want a show standard one but then again I don't wand a dog just something that's useable and I can tinker with!!
