  1. well today i have had the fly wheel off and took the woodruff key off looks ok. So i took it to my local garage and they said it looks fine. I have put all back together and tried again no joy ive double checked all the rubbers around the carb are fitted tight but still no joy the plugs wet so fuels getting through
  2. are right i get it now lol. So basically the the fly wheel is not tight on the crank hence it not spinning where it should be cheers fellas i will check today

  4. well a quick update had to get a new air fuel screw got it fitted OK so iv reset it the carbs been cleaned a new plug and nothing just a good back fire the bike was running fine wen i got it all ive done is put a servo on full dep system new air filter piston and rings and full bottom end rebuild check the plug after a few back fires theirs fuel and oil on it so theirs fuel going through there's good compression and spark so im stumped. check the timing i through dt125r were set and couldn't be changed, im desperate now more than ever as im going to Spain in two weeks for a biking holiday and i need her lol

  6. hi again every 1 im having another problem with my dtr i got it sparking there's good compression but all its doing is back firing does any 1 know any reasons this may be happening and not starting ???

  8. i have ordered a new coil it turned up today. any way ive manage to get a spark of it but only if its earth on the regulator. ive tryed it mounted earth,straight from the battery,wired it to earth in the loom and nothing the only place as i say is wen its touching the regulator. its annoying me now i have also put a new plug in. any ideas fellas would be appreciated

  10. ive had the barrel off now its on again. I need to let the servo clean with out the cables on then make sure the pv is a open as it can be smooth to the port once the servo clean pin the pulley and adjust the cables so theres no play on the pulley what so ever sorry to seem dumb just making sure its done right
  11. today's the day im setting up my power valve.A quick question before i start wen the exhaust off should the valve be flush (so the ports open as far as it can be and the holes big) or should it be turned fully (so the ports smaller) and the hole is small as it can be ???? cheers

  13. i dint have a loom so ive wired it myself ive stripped it twice now to make ive not missed a wire off. i know the servo spin for this reason i meant that theres still power going threw the cdi ??
  14. come across a problem now tho its only having a day time only MOT so its litrally only got ignition,CDI ,kill switch, servo and regualator/rectifier last but not least coil but this is where my problem is i had a few sparks n the plug so i puts it down for dinner and returned to my brother in law soldeing the wires onto the coil now it wont spark?????. im thinking hes held the soldering iron on to long and the internals of the coil have undone where they been soldered?????. im going to replace the coil tommorow but wanted some advice on it before i do ive seaced online for ideas but i dont have a clue how to use a multi meter. there must be a easier way to test a coil lol?? wen i turn the ignition the servo spins as normal so im assuming the CDI is working. id really appreciate some help ahhhhhh lol
