  3. Yeah it's a scooter four stroke. It takes a few attempts on the electric start to get going. Hmm compression low seems like the bore could be a problem???? Thanks guys for taking time to reply always appreciated
  4. I've put new piston kit On as my old 1 shot a hole bang in the middle. I got it to start but it wouldn't go faster than 15mph if that I'm wanting some advice on so may be causes. The bore looked ok to me nothing jumped out a mate says it could need a rebore but I don't know as he hadn't seen the barrel Off the bike. I think I'm asking for a second opinion. Please please help its a nightmare!!!!! Thanks so very much any ideas/advice I'm grateful
  5. cheers mate. so wen ive got my exhaust off after the cleaning cycle the exhaust port should be in the fully open position. thiats what im strugglong with ive done it that the exhuast ports fully closed after the cycle
  6. i again all. always apreciate the help z get from u guys. im in a pickle now again lol. ive had the valve pinned open since i got it. i have now got a servo and setting it up has me puzzled. its got more bottom end but red lines with no boost. ive set it in the closed position after its cleaning cycle. is this right or not. im led to belive id get top and bottom end benifits but i seem to only get bottom ????? thanks in advance
  7. My yamaha majesty is blowing from the joint where the back box meets. Ive tryed joint paste bandage liquid metal. My.question is can i use a rubber tube like on a 2 stroke i mean temp wise o only need it to hold till next week till the new 1here. Thankz in advance

  11. Had hole in my piston so ove now replaced it but im struggling with the timing. Theres a T | H whitch i carnt work out where to line it ive tryed flush with the T Amd lined the top sprocket with the marl on the casing please help!!!!
  12. yeah its for the right side clutch case. ???? im going to use a m7 1.00 so id need 6mm ??? do the drill bit need to be metric as well

  14. i bought a new frame and v5 and built it up with what id salvaged from the old 1 hence no looom
  15. i need of some advice yet again. i only have a day MOT on my bike never got a chance to buy a new loom wen i got it back off the police (a joy rider cut and hacked at the loom to get it running) they only had it for 2 hours. anyway it passed its MOT yesterday so i can use it for the summer. my mrs is naggng now that i need a bake light. my horns on but its run off my battery and theres nothing charging it. i have the haynes but im no good at wiring and carnt workout what wires charge or need to be connected

UPDATE! did the test recommended no where could i hear the leak or wd40 shown any thing ive now had a shop put a new seal on the pump new pump and new gasket genuine 1. the oil still gone creamy but ive noticed after a few rides that the coolant has only dropped 4ml so im thinking that its what was left over from inside the gear box. my question of the day is how can i flush the gear box without stripping the whole thing down
  18. only gone an done it had to change the line and use a syringe and some fish tank tube made abit of a vacum then opened the nipple sucked it straight through
  19. just seen a 1 man brake bleeding kit im trying to work it to before i buy it. its from halfords seems cheap for the hard work it says it can save. its got a 1 way valve on to stop air going back in the bleed line connected to the nipple. im wondering if i would attach the bleed line to the nipple open it and pump like feck keeping the master filled and wen the fresh fulid comes out tigthen it back up job done. does this sound right ??? cheers for helping fellas appreciate it
  20. might be a daft question but ive done my head in all day lol. ive changed my front caliper topped up the master undone the nipple pulled the lever tightened the nipple released the lever and so on and so all the time keeping the master topped up but no fluid comes out of the nipple. am i doing this right or do i need to carry on doing this til the fluid appears ????
  21. yeah cheers fellas. my local garage said today that the head gasket would leak out and theres no real way it would enter the gear box. im gonna order a new seal and new pump see if this cures it. i will keep u updated

  23. yeah did the head gasket but can not think if it was oem or not a got it from yambits as a set
