  1. yes it did run before i touched it.as far as i can tell i have no power going into the points,i have power going into the recifier but nothing coming out that lead then runs into the points.but this run before and it had no wiring loom in it and no battery,just a lead running from start stop switch to coil,im going to remove flywheel for a better look.

  2. With the key thing on, turning the big round thing should create a spark across the little pincer things.

    If you leave them closed and open them with a small screwdriver they should spark.

    yea im not getting a spark when i open the points

  3. with ignition on and i manuely open points should i get a spark,or if i turn the big round thing i can see them open and shut should thay spark then,do thay have some sort of power supply to them.

    cant get my spark plug to spark.dt 80 mx 1981 (in projects).

  4. this thread takes me back...to before getting married when I would heave my GT380 up a ramp into the living room for winter maintenance, happy days :spin2:

    incidentally that is one beautifully clean bike

    yea im not married,

    that rear brake arm is on upside down though.

    but great job bud, if any of my bikes ever turn out half as good as that i will be a happy foamy :)

  5. well im nearly thier,every thing that had to be painted is back from the sprayers,new spokes fitted stainles steel getting tyres put on saturday,still missing chain gaurd but one will turn up im sure,just sorting out wiring loom,before it fit to bike 76de34f2-cc3d-40dd-b583-00130b6a4a85.jpg" />i must say it has cost me a small packet wheels came to a total of £390 spraying £180 head bearings £50 new cables

  6. 3 attemps at putting new spokes in the dt 80 mx wheels and i give in,looked easy on the you tube video,going to take them to someone, as new stainless steel spokes cost me £160 might aswell have it done properly

  7. just tried it says file is to big,its only a little bike.

    Hey pedguy, you dont need an image code or a remote host for your 'Garage' ...Just browse to a picture on your PC hard drive. I just tested it and uploaded one of mine...It's working fine

  8. i click the image code it goes yellow amd sayes copied,how do i then put it into mt garage,it wont copy to it i rezized image to 600 x 400,thier is no right click copy and paste.
