  1. awww fucking hell mate! Feel for you dude! such a lovely example of that bike, it was mint wasn't it?!

There are some idiots about and it seems they ALL come out on the bankholidays.

At least you're not in hospital :eusa_snooty:

  2. so it keeps the 1 valve open so its easier to kick but allows the bike to start?

he explains the hot cams at about 4 mins in.

Not sure if it's of any use because i know very little about this stuff, but i remember stumbling across it a while back. :eusa_think:

  3. Figured i may aswell give it a go, should hopefully be able to make it there on 2 tanks of fuel over about 8 hours :)

God damn, that's a long old time, best of luck to you sir

  4. Are you doing squires on your DR then welshy? I'm half tempted to come on mine.

Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

IF i do go, it WILL be on the DR mate. Depending on how this tank turns out, you may well be in for some lols.

Thought you'd go on that fancy bike in your avatar :jossun: . Would like to compare the DRs though!

  5. Not bad at all finnerz!

and i thought 165 miles on the DR was pushing it...... forget the spare engine, strap a pushbike to your back for when you need make better time.

In all seriousness i would tow the bike up there. You're a brave, erhhh crazy guy.

  6. I went to watch some races in the VAGUE area when i was a kid, and was trying to see if the place was still going. Haven't found that one yet, but i did find This place, but it's up for sale now.

Any takers? (Perhaps a drunken foamy?) :eusa_whistle:

I have no connection with this place WHATSOEVER, but thought it was random and cool thing to find.

  7. too right, i've only done about 230 miles and i am very eager to get back on it. Not bad bikes at all ..... and compared to my husky or even my old XT125 this has a seat like a sofa.

What have you got yours to top out at with the big bore pipes? i've only ever taken it up to about 75- still had some more go in it though

  8. I think these are too powerful for a A2 license, without restriction. (google says they are 64-68 BHP) .

I like the way it is now, bet it would look pretty tidy after a good blast with a hosepipe. As for the price....i'd say the cheaper the better!

Any idea if there are any issues with it? might help you decide how much it is worth- or more to the point how much it would cost to get it up and running.

Always wanted to have a go on one of these 400's :jossun:

  9. In that case, i suspect the only tyres that will offer more off-road grip are something like AC10's (big knobblies, but not necessarily that brand or tyre) which don't last long at all. (assuming the tread on yours is not already excessively worn?)

You have to decide, better offroad grip and less tyre life. or less offroad grip and longer tyre life.

That one in the picture seems pretty aggressive already.

  10. exactly what i thought!! last video a biker would have ever made.

After re-watching the video. Looks like the white pickup truck pulled out in front of the cement mixer, the mixer swerved around to dodge it, then tried to swerve back into his own lane and it tipped.

    Thoughts?
