Yep through the mot thanks to a donor bike
Nope not a drop of rain
7 wires through to the cdi
the severed wires looks like they have come about due to a lack of care from the previous owner the colors are yellow/ sky blue /white & red /brown/ black and green there are 3 left connected I am just a little concerned about how hard replacing these wires will be. Any ideas?

Hi guys
Q1
Just been out on the mx lost power after erratic running now no spark can any one post the simplest wiring diagram to see if i can get her going.?
Q2
The wiring into the magneto/engine casing has some severed wires so I am looking at replacing them in order to put on my new loom
Do I have to send the whole magneto unit away to have the wires solderd on or is there a simpler solution?
Cheers

Yep thats the plan
Dont try to escape on the c90 though yer might get caught.
That sounds like a bloody good laugh I had 1 and ran it on a trials course for a while great bikes certainly better than most of the scooters on the road.

Cheers chaps
Thats pretty nifty info you have there I am going to investigate this weekend. just 2 questions
Is the gear ratio/box the same for 125/175mx
If the seals are gone is it detrimental to the engine ?

I have had it running but not for a long enough distance for the engine to get hot so not too sure! Can you tell by looking at them or are they squeezed in ?

Hi all
I am about to strip a spare engine and am thinking of a re-con. Is replacing the internal seals in the engine a specialist job or can I diy it with care? I am thinking this because of advice regarding 2 srokes sitting for too long and the seals failing once started and warmed up. Is this true?

Nice bike mate I am in the same process with the same bike at the mo. Got mine on the road the other day for its first run and blew the piston/rings or summut but I have the pleasure of my wife being away this weekend so my bike is coming into the warm of my living room to strip the barrel hopefully not the engine. Then sorted before the return if I am caught any tips?

Oh and is there a difference between a H model and a Mx ?
-
Cheers chaps They haven't got he part but they certainly are comprehensive. II have trawled through yam bits and wemoto no joy should I try a bush manufacture company?
-
Yep its there Number 9" lower bushing" Nice parts site. Any idea where I could get the bush though?
-
part not on diagram
-
I don;t think so its the bush from the suspension arm fixing on to the swinging arm frame.
-
Hi All
I have just taken off the swinging arm to replace the bushes (mot Failure) where can I get them ? I need the bush that ties the arm with the mono shock. Any ideas?
Cheers

.The switch gear has no slide switch for the indicators nor a horn button. So I have purchased a 9v independent horn for now for the mot . Once I can get a new switch gear then all will be properly restored .
Good news is that I found the oil pump nicely seized \ `so now lubricated and working as it should so that is the smoke issue sorted thank the lord..
will investigate the exhaust tomorrow.

I mean the numbers all match to there relevant documentation.

Frame & engine numbers sound
-
The loom is intact the only feeds I cannot find are the rear light and indicators the front has indicator feed. I will eventually need a new switch gear as there is no slide or horn button. I am bypassing for the horn till then and will fit indicators after mot.

Have you always been so optimistic? I reckon 2 - 3 weeks will do it till the mot Bike will be garaged tomorrow eve so I can start from there.just got to figure where to start
-
Though it was till this evening.

I am pretty logical just not used to bike workings.

Just want to get her right. I have a week before the my planned mot so reckon I might have time?

Thanks O G
I will be purchasing a volt meter tomorrow and testing from your post figures.
The wires remaining I assume to be the necessary wires for the bike just to function so I do have to reinstate the internal wiring from the magneto only problem being I am not sure I will be able to retrieve them in order to be fixable good thinking though!
Cheers
