So to get my bike started I had to sometimes give the starter solenoid (sp?) A little slap, so I replaced it. Now that I have replaced it I have to slap it EVERYTIME to get the bike running. On top of that when I kill the ignition on the bike for some reason the starter starts winding and trying to turn, even with the ignition off. And comments would be helpful...

Ha well at least I included myself, but I suppose I meant fellow riders, how's that?

Hello all, I'm a new rider from colorado, just bought myself a 1980 xj650 maxim. Lookin to meet some people who can provide a little help and advice when it comes to maintenance and repairs, its a 30 year old bike, stuffs gonna come up (already has, damn throttle cable).
