  1. The tank is around 1960's but not a Norton i don't think. I have half sprayed the tank as its aluminium weathered look which I like. I think the lines are nice.
  2. I have done a couple xvs projects so wanted something a bit different so I got this.... Yamaha TR1 1000cc V-Twin and did a bit of work on her....
  3. Thanks. I know what you mean about the mirrors. I was hoping to get small round in black to fit in nicely with the headlight but ended up putting it up for sale so not going to spend any more on it
  4. I had an issue like this. It was suggested that I full throttle it until it takes. Didn't take long and worked a treat.
  5. Well mine was a standard classic and I have fitted fatboy harley beach bars (love them) and other bits and bobbs. This is how she stands now
  6. Thanks, I got some mini black indicators to fit. I have actually sold the bike now I got the white wall off ebay as Avon apparantly stopped doing them. £85 I am pretty sad to see it go but unfortunately needs must.
  7. Now complete and prov sold too  Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  8. Thanks, I was trying to go for an old school look. The front mudgaurd will come off and a small rear mudguard with smaller indicators. My wife wants to pillion on the mayday run, so have to leave it with the standard seat till after
  9. Standard as it was 1st step..... Added some exhaust bandage and bobber seat. I have the mudgaurd, small indicators, side number plate and a little tool bag to fit.
  10. The biting point is not at the grip end but fully out, If I don't assist in pushing out, it slips. I have ordered new plates anyway and will probably upgrade the springs too.
  11. Ok so the bike has done 20000 miles. The clutch does not spring back all the way, I have to physically push it (the clutch lever) forwards. The biting point is right at the end. I can only assume new clutch plates are required. If I also added uprated clutch springs, would the biting point be at the begining, instead of the end. I have adjusted all the cable settings, also replaced the cable which did not help. My last resort is both plates and uprated springs. Can anyone think of anything else I should try? Thanks
  12. So stuck the standards on for now. 170 whitewall on the rear and 100 on the front. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  13. Thanks, I shall have a look. I do have the classic.
