yes it's very good stuff for these kind of things. saved my rd for a few winters i have heard that proper wd40 aint all that good though, so perhaps unmutual is right.

My wife has been saying a lot lately, that I am obsessed with my bike (well anything to do with bikes really).
Every opportunity, I am out on it. As soon as I get home I am washing it. And not just a quick flick with a sponge....its the full on clean.
I even find myself taking it out of the shed, just so I can look at the darn thing out of the kitchen window as I wash the dishes!
I suppose she doesn't know what it feels like to ride a bike, the front end rising as you open the throttle, the sweeping left and right hand bends, the sheer delight as you filter through all the traffic! Look....I am at it again....I am thinking of going out! 8)
Is it just me? Or is everyone like that? :shock:
Also, I have spoken to a few people, who say they gave up biking when they had a child, being more responsible etc. I couldn't do it! I have a 15 month old daughter, and I never felt like that!
Normal?
Anyway, I feel better that its off my chest!
i'm exactly the same mate, dont worry about it 8) the bit about taking the bike out of the garage just to look at when you're washing the dishes........i've done that :oops: and i park whatever bike i'm on so that i can see it at work, not because it might get stolen but because i like looking :oops: bike's are awsome!!! 8)

it wasnt intended to be but now you mention it...... :twisted: :wink:

unmutual=bastard :evil:

yes changing bars is easy mate, just make sure cable routing is still ok if they're higher or wider. you know, so that the speedo, rev cables reach ok and dont tug or anything when bars moved lock to lock. you shouldnt have probs with renthals though 8)

mmm dealers?......big rab down the road can get some good grass so he's worth a mention failing that i use busters(not as much stock as m&p but fast delivery), m&p(ok but SLOW delivery) and pgm for yamaha stroker bits. any work needing done on bikes i do myself so cant recommend dealers for that sort of thing

unlucky mate. hope it comes up ok alex :wink:

that's just the way they go mate. not too nice with it open, crap down low but quite fast up top

lets hope when you're 15 you'll get the sense to not jump off 20ft things eh :roll: :wink: the bike will need a good looking over now after that mate. hope you're on the mend soon

had a great run on my rd400 today, parked it up and a big crowd all got round, r1 boys and suchlikes, all telling me how cool it was 8) it turned every head there, think the noise had something to do with it :twisted: i'm well proud of my old school stroker 8) anyone else have a nice sunday blast :?:

hi jon, i'd go up two sizes in the main jets just to be sure. you could try playing with the gearing for a bit more speed, or go to someone like mick abbey and get the ports etc.. cleaned up a bit.

ouch:shock: was it at a roundabout dave? or out in the open road?
