cool 8) glad you're happy with your new ride, it certainly sounds great. i'd say bikes like these will often be overlooked, i've never been into them much but i'd bet i'd enjoy one if i had a go!!
-
haha great minds pete

good reply mate  8)

i dunno mate, but most folk i know are filling up like mad  thing is, the petrol companies will make a fortune at times like these, people buying as much as they can hold incase of a strike, they prob wont be losing out on much. the government will put price down slightly to get things rolling again, then bump it straight back up

Change of plan, and we decided to go to Llansteffan on the South coast of Carmarthenshire as we've got friends there.
The XT lapped up the narrow single lane roads/tracks there, that's it's type of terrain.
Nice round trip of 140 miles.
The day was only marred by the usual sportsbike heroes who seems to make a habit of accelerating at oncoming cars on the wrong side of the road. One daft twat even tried kicking at the oncoming cars!
sounds good mate 8) the power ranger would have got a shock if he connected with the car and got thrown off! silly sod  how's the bike 2 up then mate? does it still handle ok?
-
it's daft isnt it alex, my tzr was the same  i'll not be bothered pissing about with a 125 again

yeah guys it's all about time and place, also knowing what's right and what's just stupid. we'd be talking sh*te if we said we didnt ride fast but it's possible to ride smooth and fast(80mph) without hurting anyone. i get loads more enjoyment from riding like this, holding a steady 70, picking best lines and holding good corner speed. far more rewarding than hitting 150mph in my opinion

ouch

indeed, well put. it's the same in the town near where i live now. junkies everywhere useless bastards need shot. my poor gran and granda are scared at night and have the place locked up from 6 onwards  they live in a decent area too it's just these little bastard hang around on the scrounge for whatever they can get. i stepped out of their house one day and one of the buggers was trying their car door, i chased him, he tripped up and i gave him the hardest kick in the side of the ribs that i could. it was a struggle to stop myself giving him a few more kicks

i nearly always wear my jeans   . suppose i should wear my leather trousers more. yesterday was the first time i wore them in ages, went for an 80 mile ride on the xj so decided to put them on. might wear them more often now as i found them actually quite comfy and the safety factor is important
