  1. seen her in 2004 at the NEC bikeshow on trade day....she's thick as fook man...PIG UGLY in the flesh...biggest conk i've ever seen

fair enough mozzy m8, i'm not much of a tv fan either. but you'll know who jodie marsh is surely?

  2. im looking at either a yam tzr 250 theres a lot of nice ones around fairly old but i don't care. and perhaps *cough* a vfr 400 nc30. there aren't any mid size yams available, its either a 250 or an r6, the r6 being a bike that is too expensive for me, insurance would be hell and most of all id kill myself!! once i pass my direct access in may then im in for a new bike as i have no need for a car yet. only need wheels for going to and from college as well as enjoying myself!! :P

    nc30's are niiiiice! B)

  3. wouldnt mind a `95 exup, seems the logical step from a `92 for me ;) but failing that the only other bike i would entertain would be a ZX7

the zx7 is another i'd go for baz! gorgeous bike and alot around for decent money!

pete, i reckon you should go down the power-ranger type stuff now! i know you want to B)

mozzy if you dont get a bike soon i'm coming down to chav land to punch you good looking! B)

  4. for me it'll prob be a yzf750 if i can find a nice clean one. i had been looking before i got the gixxer, but any i seen were dogs :( so what about you lot? are you yamaha fans and only stick to yams, or will it be just whatever takes yer fancy?

  5. if you're fairly new in here why dont you post up a wee bit about yourself, how you got into bikes, any funny/interesting biking tales to tell? the more people get to know each other the more chat comes, we've got plenty of members here so start talking! :)

  6. hello and welcome to the forum m8 B) if you fancy it, and if you have any, post up a piccy of your bike and how you rate it so far as a starting bike for you. we're even interested about hearing of your vespa's, it's a yam forum but anything with 2 wheels go :) happy new year to you

  7. thanks pete :) the top of what though :D i dont know how long i'll keep the suzuki, it's just one of the bikes i've always wanted to own. if something comes up and i can make a profit it would prob go, but otherwise, it's quite a good bike! the main thing for me is to start being able to keep my bikes clean, enjoy riding them, and use four wheels for all the running about. before i couldn't afford both but as i'm getting older i'm getting more money so it's time to get things sorted!

  8. ...winter commuting by bike! i've been on the bikes a long time now and quite frankly i'm getting sick of being freezing, soaked, riding on slippy crappy roads that deteriorate my bike, putting expensive tyres on to get no enjoyment out of them, going to my gf's with all the gear on then having to change into something better, needing a piss all the time because of the cold! think i'm going to go for a small 4x4, will be handy for keeping tools in for summer jobs i get, will be able to pull my gf's horse box, and will keep me warm! i'm thoroughly pissed off, and cold, and my bike's f'in filthy again! to hell with all the macho all year round biker stuff i always stuck with, time to wise up! B)

  9. Hey Alan,

Look again at the second picture. The beemer from behind ( ), the palm tree and the island offshore. That's not Spain is it? It's just down the road from you where the palm trees grow and the island is called Ailsa Craig! It's all alongside the Clyde really :D:D

    Cheers,

    Andy

    PS Nice pics really! ;)

    :D:D:D

  10. normal_rain2.jpg

well here's my old 400 at the moment, sat in the rain/snow as i've no room to work on it in the shed(divvie, gs500, rs250, cb200, xs400! and the gixxers on the road!!)

it's been getting a bit of a freshen up lately, new top end, back to standard airbox, keeping reed spacers and newlyn pipes, tapered headraces, metal front guard along with the micron fork brace its always had, swing arm bushes, lightly raised bars and its not comfy for me with the flat ones. raask rearsets(which i always had) 3/4 seat(which i like :P )

when it's all set up right, i'll get it all polished again and get a proper pic when it's not raining/snowing.

glad to get in to the comp for a bit, my hands are f'in freezing

p.s the front end is just in place at the moment, not bolted up as i'm still working on it! real sorry for pic quaility, it's the best my phone can do in this weather/lighting
