  2. thanks for the help also i believe that i have to inform dvla of any colour change of the bike but i am confused, what if i had my bike with black fairings but white tank and mudguard what colour do i need to have my v5 changed to? what would be the main and secondary colour? thanks Jake
  3. hi there, anyone know of any websites that sell dt125re plastics and custom graphic kits? any help will be much appreciated thanks Jake
  4. Hi there, I am wondering if there is any way to change the speedo on my DT125RE 07 I have gone from a 21" to 17" wheel size, is it possible to change the speedo so it recognises I have a smaller circumference, with it being an analogue speedometer? thanks alot Jake
  5. the rear wheel fits with a smaller spacer either side, and looks really nice. not sure about front couldnt seem to get the wheel off :')
  6. Hi there, I have asked this sort of question before and am sorry, but i have a friend who has an Aprilia MX 125 supermotard the measurements of his front forks and rear swing arm are about equal to my DT125RE(from my measurements my DT may be a little wider) does this mean that those wheels and other wheels of this type could be spaced to fit? his rear wheel is wide and really tops off the 125 making it look like a bigger supermoto bike. any help will be appreciated thanks Jake EDIT: front: 3.00" x 17”; rear: 4.25" x 17” <-specs
  7. from that i guess its better for me to just buy some socks to spouse it up a little thanks
  8. Hi, i am just wondering if anyone knows if YZ125 parts such as the forks will fit a 2007 dt125re? any info will be appreciated thanks Jake

  10. hi guys, i have been wondering that is it possible to fit a kickstart to a 2007 yamaha dt 125 re? on cold mornings with stopstart riding my bettery dies out quickly and i am sick of bumping it and looking stupid thanks alot Jake
  11. just to update, i had to take it to be welded after the sealant had melted causing it to run onto the battery and melt the casing should all be fine now tho

  16. Hi, I have a Yamaha DT 125 re (07) and I'm not sure weather it has a restriction of some sort, I have come to think this as I am unable to rev high in top gear all the gears have quite abit of pull in them too but top seems to not give this. is this just due to the size of the bike or a restriction, thanks Jake
  17. i would also be greatfull for any detailed explanation into this as i have a 2007 DT and would love to convert to supermoto thanks jake
  18. yeah im not planning on having it welded, its easier to remove as it is
  19. yeah, they said the problem was due to a previous owner buying an after market silencer and having to cut down the pipe, then putting the old silencer on for sale it was either that quick cheap fix or a new system so I opted for the cheaper option
  20. they have added a piece of pipe across the gap, its sealed with some kind of silicon? but its heat resistant ect. They said see how it feels and bring it back for it welding
  21. Sorry about the late reply guys, I haven't had time to post. anyway the bike is back from the shop and is working fine now this is what they did to the bike. they only charged £20 odd so it wasn't too bad
  22. This was my temporary fix to the problem but the bike is now at the local Yamaha dealership and have not yet heard from them about what needs to be done
