  1. by the sounds of what you are saying it should be fine if u take it steady, when i first picked mine up i rode it home through little bit of town and mainly country lanes and its been fine that was about 18 miles home enjoy your new bike
  2. occording to the manual that I have for my 2010 ybr ( same model as the current one ) the guideline is the 0–150 km (0–90 mi) Avoid prolonged operation above 5000 r/min. After every hour of operation, stop the engine, and then let it cool for five to ten minutes. Vary the engine speed from time to time. Do not operate the engine at one set throttle position. 150–500 km (90–300 mi) Avoid prolonged operation above 6000 r/min. Rev the engine freely through the gears, but do not use full throttle at any time. 500–1000 km (300–600 mi) Avoid prolonged full-throttle operation. Avoid prolonged operation above 7500 r/min. NOTICE: After 1000 km (600 mi) of operation, the engine oil must be changed. [ECA10281] 1000 km (600 mi) and beyond The vehicle can now be operated normally. " hope this helps it is taken from the .pdf manual I have but I cannot remeber where I got it sorry

    2010 YBR Bulbs

Hi I havent indroduced myself properly yet I am just starting out on my fist bike a 2010 yamaha ybr 125. I got it in July and have been looking around this site since around then. The bike is great fun to ride round the lanes on the way to collage and work and i'm really enjoying it however I don't find the stock headlight bulb very good, it has been better since the 600 mile service however still not very good. I have looked around at a few sites which all seem to recomend 12v 60/55w H4 bulbs to go in the bike ( http://www.bikebulbs.com/view_products.php?bike_link_make_id=22&bike_link_model_id=7641&model_lamp_code=H4) however this is for the 07 model which is in some ways different to mine but I don't think the headligh has changed. The bulb in there at the moment is a philips hs1 12v 35/35w bulb so I am wundering if the bikes wiring can take a h4 bulb without damaging anything thanks you for any replies. Dan
  5. HI this is my first post in this forum so a bit of a Hello to everyone. you mention in your video not knowing whitch display in the speedo is whitch. Just to let you know the top reading of miles on the speedo is the total millage done by the bike and the lower one is a trip meter. To reset the trip meter twist the little thing (can't think of a better name for it atmo) down untill all the numbers go the same then keep twisting untill they are all 0's. very good video by the way I have now done a little over 200miles on my 2010 ybr and have loved every minute of them, really nice bike and really fun to ride I hope that you have as much fun ridding yours. ride safe. Dan
