  1. Thanks for all your replies.

In the end i decided on doing nothing other than a word and giving him an explanation of what would happen when not if caught and last night he was, not only that he failed to stop and crashed after a "chase"

    cant cure stupid.

  2. I have been asked by a friend to disable her sons moped. The donut is riding it without anything and it won't be long until he is lifted. I know I/we should let it happen but unlike this lad I am looking at the bigger picture. In that he has got him self in at a good firm on apprenticeship type scheme via school.

His future kinda depends on him getting a tractor licence and he is too stupid to join the dots but the graft he will be doing will make him.

He gave £20 for it non runner an to be fair got it running.

Option one is sugar in the tank. Down side wrecks engine plus side he will think he it just seized up saving any grief towards his mum. Should he ever find out.

Option two is have a play in the cdi unit with a screw driver

Option three bang a nail into the tyre

    And more ideas?

  3. I would say so, I personally wouldn't overtake on a single carriageway with on coming traffic no matter the gap. But I am captain slow on my bike :P my fear again is all it would take is one of the cars not to be aware of you and swerve for a pot hole. I would have waiting for the car to pass first. What are you thoughts?

Well in my eyes if i was in traffic on that road i would be thankfull that roads people made me a special overtaking lane just for me. I agree that the van was in

the wrong but my personal choice is to just let morons go on there way. It takes nothing from me just to roll off for a second and make gap bigger for them to pass. And like wise car drivers with bikes behind.

  4. Depends if I am on 6-2 or 2-10 that week Paul

Could work it out but the calendar is in the kitchen an I have been smashing up a path all day by hand.8 inches deep. I take it concrete was cheap in the 50s. Officially not moving until morning now.

    Lol drew

Sure do John. Great time too

  5. Steel crates and forklifts... Me I would opt for a wooden frame if at all possible. Steel or plastic pallets on forks are a bugger as they just slide off.

Fork lift driver at a international pallet hub and it is a nightmare having to crawl to a stop to ensure the load don't keep going when we are busy.

Also if you can knock the bike down a bit into three chunks and put it on a euro you would saves a fortune as over sized loads are billed by the mm.

  6. The 170 Athena kit i bought for my bike came with a 270 main. same a fitted standard to the tdr 4gw as a 125. Never had any problems fueling wise, me and that bike have been everywhere.

Ahay you must make sure to add some extra oil into the tank every time you fill up. Good quality oil at that NEVER mineral oil EVER even by mistake like me.

Rushing around late like normal and bought some red two stroke oil from morrisons with out reading the bottle.

RED does not always mean synthetic. sneeky carlube very sneeky

8 miles later Bike Seized on route to YOC twostroke met up.

I bet the person who heard that hotline msg learned some new curse words

  7. 11 miles i pushed my bike once way way back when the piston ate the head.. never again was shagged after me and bike but still made it in time just :hyper:

Been out on the tdr Friday afternoon after work just to dust of the cobwebs an such, been sat since September .

Even with only odd number gears working she still flys an lifts on song, but have to keep it short and be back before all the box old is burnt away :shakeno:

I will get round to it i keep promising myself...
