  1. yes, that is exactly what i am talking about. i didnt notice it at first, probably because i was soo excited to ride and i wasnt used to the loud wind. but i have been listening to it alot lately, and it didnt seem to be getting any louder. a few people i have talked to at the shop said it was normal and they took it for a ride and didnt notice anything wrong. that makes me feel a little better...now i wont baby it soo much
  2. well now that i am kinda used to driving it, i noticed a clicking noise that sounds like vlave chatter on the honda motors i used to biuld. it is louder at 3-5k then above 6k. the guy said it had its first service, so is this normal?? or do i need to get it checked out?? i havent driven it hard, i dont think i've even gotten it past 12k, lol. but any thought will be appreciated.
  3. Just a few days ago i purchased my first bike. now i am the proud owner of a 2003 R6. when i bought it, it had 4670 miles on it, and now i have already put over 200 more miles on it. i havent been able to put it down, its just soo much fun to ride, and suprisingly easy. does anyone kno of a good place to look when i need some technical advise?? i would hate to pay for the dealer to diagnose every problem that arises with time. thanks.
  4. I am 19, going to college, and in need of more economical transportation. right now i drive a 2002 mustang gt, and with the parking the way it is at school, i have to get on campus a few hours before my classes start to get any parking. so, my thought is to go with my desire i have had since the first time i got on a dirtbike; i want an R6. but since i dont have much expierence riding on the street (i rode a Honda 650 enduro for a short while) i am asking you for any insight. i have heard to only get a bike if i really love riding, not just for gas prices or parking. i am still trying to decide which bike to get, and with a college student budget, i want to be sure before i buy. i dont want to buy brand new because i would hate to lay down a new bike, but i am also cautious to buy used because i dont kno how it has been ridden or maintained. so what should i do??? i am not very worried about the ride comfort, school is only a few miles from my house, and i am only 5'10" and 145lbs so i think a 600 would fit me well. sorry this is soo long but like i said, i want to be sure. thanks for any advise.
