hi im sure that r6 calipers are the same,but il tell you a trick how i free up seized caliper pistons.half fill a bucket with hot water frm the kettle.hang the caliper over the bucket still attached to the brake line but not in the water.leave it there for 20mins the steam rising will loosen all the crap trapped round and behind the piston.you shld then be able to pump the piston out and clean the seals and the rest of the caliper and put back together.hope this helps

hi all ,this is my 1st postand my question may have been asked b4,but here goes.Ive bought a tdm850 4tx,the bike had been neglected and needed a new tank and a few other bits and bobs.My question is there seems to be a pipe that comes off between the two carbs and doesnt go anywhere ,i thought it mite be a fuel line,but on the tap the pipe is bigger and seems to go to the pump.Is it a vacum?there is also a long pipe with what looks like a filter in the middle of it .where does this go.there is a off take on the air box and also one under the tank?.Any help wld be grt.
