hi i am new to this forum and would like to introduce my self. my name is chris and i live in nottingham,england,(uk).i have owned my 56 plate r6 from new and it is the most exciting bike ived owned to date.but in the last week i have deen experiencing a running problem that i can not understand.i was traveling around 70 mph when my engine light came on and my bike died on me.i pulled over and tried to start again.bike started but had no throttle response,and turned of and started again, this time all seemed fine.i got about 2 miles down the road and same thing again.i started the bike buy this time the light stayed on and it was fluctuating on the rev counter by its self for around a minuate then cut out.i have a power commander fitted so i disconnected this and still have the same problem.how ever when this problem ocurs if you allow the bike to stand non runing for 10 ,20 and then start it seems as if there is no problem,i have used the bike today and have done 160 miles with no issue ,but 5 miles from home it has happened again .but gave it half an hour and it was fine again.any ideas would be great.thanks again, a bamboozeled r6 owner
