  2. If inserting an image using the old laptop and imageshack no problem (Vista), inserting an image using new laptop and imageshack, there's a problem (Windows 8)
  3. I've recently got a new laptop with Windows 8 on it and have been getting the same error message about the image extension. and I use imageshack. Maybe it's a Windows 8 or IE 10 compatability issue?

    DT125 R YPVS Fault

I think that's your problem right there mate, you have a 2004 bike with a 4GW4 1996 ish, engine, the 2004 bikes had a 5 wire powervalve servo, whereas the 4GW engine had a 3 wire 4FU-85820 powervalve servo, I'd go with the 5 wire servo as that is what the CDI on the 2004 loom, will be geared up to take.
  8. "Well Tommy, when I was a young lad, and not much younger than you are now, a Golden Eagle swooped down and tried to take me back to its nest" " Yeah, like fuck it did Grandad "
  9. Check out the Garmin 12xl bit rudimentry but good for what you need, any phone/gps has bad reception for when under trees, and down here its 60% that on our greenlanes.
  10. Another 50cc engine wouldn't go amiss, providing its in a DT50MX frame, which I very much doubt, and I really dont like the look of that head, theres no squish band, looks like its been skimmed to buggery, what do the VIN/serial numbers on the headstock come up as? as that'll more than likely be what its registered as.
  11. Boooyackkkashaaa, its a ringer innit bruv
  12. Yes I'd conclude with that Mr Holmes.
  13. Also where I've highlighted it should say 3MB or 3BN, and 124cc, looks like thats been erased to me Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  14. Standard is 56mm IIRC, 55.94 to be exact
  15. The numbers you say that are stamped on the engine deffo come up as a 92 dt50mx, but looking at the engine I'd say it was a 125 engine as as far as I know there wasn't a powervalve on the 50 engine, the only think I'm not sure of is the head in the background doesn't look like a 125 head, the 3BN on the head would make it a 125 barrell. Summat not quite right if you ask me.
  16. A dt50 with a working powervalve and servo? Although I get where ya coming from Dirty, as I get it to be a 92 dt50mx but the engine looks a 125 dtr especially with the powervalve and servo, somethings amiss methinks.
  17. Probably a point to add would be that if changing to a 21" front you'll need a speedo drive for it on the spindle/wheel, as your speedo will be calibrated for a smaller wheel. Also possibly need to lace a XT X hub into an R rim, providing the XTX has the larger disc, and twinpot caliper same as does the DTX.
  18. Reckon you'll be pushing it by going with anything over 100/90 on the front, the tyres I have on my SM set up are purely road tyres, and not on/off road type such as the Bridgestone trailwing, or the Dunlop Trailmax same as I have on the XT600, which I'd deffo reccommend, your problem would be getting them the right size for your SM set up, but to give you an idea of size you can use, I have Dunlop Arrowmax on mine, 100x90x18 on the front, and 130x80x17 on the rear, 140 being about the max width you can go comfortably on the rear I'd say. Another route to go down, and one I did for the DT is to have 2 set ups, one for Enduro, 21" front, 18" rear, and SM 18"/17" front 18"/17" rear, you can swap over from one to the other in roughly 30-45mins, and have the type of set up depending on the circumstances/conditions you need to ride your bike, as in my opinion, an Enduro set up copes with Winter conditions better than the SM does.
  19. My mate lives next door to a house same as that, I'll show him that, not only does he have to endure that lot every year at Xmas, he also has an hour of a brass band ensemble too, for when they have an official turning on of the lights.
  20. My XT600 has Trailwing-41 90/90 21 54S front, Dunlop Trailmax 65T 130/80 17 rear, good all round on/off tyre set up I've found.

I wish everyone would stop criticising Jimmy Savile. When I was 8, he fixed it for me to milk a cow blindfolded.

Bi carb of soda, same as for sweaty trainers, and if needs be, Scotchguard or tent spray will waterproof again.
