the water pipes go top one to the left and right to the bottom and you can get the man from www.dtr125.net

Messing with the jets can be a real pain . What I would do is put your old ones in and see if it starts from cold and if it will i would say its the air fuel mix with the larger jets as they letting a lot more fuel and oil in good luck m8

I have fumes and gunk coming out of the right hand side of my power valve . I just had a rebore piston and rings now Im not sure if the guy doing the rebore would have taken the valve out whilst doing this but now Ive noticed its got quite a bit of play at the right and wont start any ideas .

I done this to mine a few month ago it improved throttle responce (nothing major) but its a very simple job just pop the carb off and its on the left hand side undo the four bolts then you will see a square bit sticking out this is the bit to be cut away then shave the inside edges to make it more circle like them pop back on . you might as well give your reeds a little clean aswell . but i noticed a bigger improvement when the exaust was de restricted at the flange end there is a small peice of pipe that needs taking out cost me £20 at a local garage

I have a 03 reg dtr 125 Just had a rebore and piston and rings went out on it yesterday and it was fine at first some noise running ok then started to cough and splutter so I thought some muck must have got into the carb took it off gave it a quick clean put it back on then it ran very poorley for about 20 meters then cut out seemed as if was misfiring checked the spark all good great compression I Took the carb apart to clean properly put back on still wont start any ideas people oh and is the cut off switch ment to prevent the spark as mine sparking with it in the off position ??
