  1. Glad your alright mate. I had a close call about this time last year. Went for a quick ride one afternoon and i thought i'd warm the bike up before a spirited ride, so after about 5 miles or so of sweeping roads i thought i was about set. I entred a roundabout at about 20mph with the intention of exiting on the last exit but either i hit some diesal or the tyres just weren't up to temp and i manged to slide the bake end out while my knee was cm's off the floor. To the cars behind it must have looked like i was showing off as i driffted the back end into the exit, but on board i was shitting myself.
  2. Yeah 18mpg and a tank of petrol at about £65 just doesn't compare to the bike.
  3. im 27 and 2 months Been riding since i was 23 i think.
  4. Im BPU++ or close, running about 450bhp. TBH it's not as good as when the car was stock and also the reason why im looking at an R1. I used to get out the car and on the bike and think "damn the bikes fast". Now i do it and im thinking it only just feels a little faster I still love the bike as it different on the roads to the car.
  5. Well i watch cartoons and old movies for a living and after 6 years am being made redundant in 51 days God knows what i'll do afterwards, hopefully something without nightshifts. Only been riding for about 3/4 years now. I spend most my time and money playing with my car (pictures and stuff in my website). Oh and i've just taken up golf and snowboarding.
  6. Thanks guys Havn't put too much thought into what year R1 yet as i guess i don't really wanna sell the R6 because i love the Decals on it. I think ideally i'm gonna look towards the 03/04's but at the end of the day will depend on what i can get for the money. I don't mind an older bike if it has good mileage and the engine has been looked after.
  7. I thought i'd bump into another supra owner
  8. Hi guys, always fancied joining a forum for my bike and thought i'd sign up today. At the momment im riding a 98 R6 which im loving and have been for the last year and a half. Think though i may be upgrading to an R1 as im in need for a little bit more speed
