  1. That 56 led whatsit must take some juice it sounds like its drawing 5-10 amps thats like 100watts.

I can't believe this, all the shit you have had to put up with recently, chucking the bike down the road, fixing it up and you get a shitty on cos of a flat.???

lol well it just because it up and running and i sudernly get a flat its just tipical and do you think a 15amp fuse should be ok for led rear light and 4x10w indicators well aculy the stock ones are 10w each so should be ok as it held up for a week with no troble so i asume it can take 4x10 and the light

  2. Stop If you are blowing a 20 amp fuse with just the indicators there is something VERY wrong with the wiring.

Indicators 2*21w lamps plus a bit for the relay and losses say 50w on a 12v system thats 4 amps give or take.

Indicators 2*10w lamps plus a bit for the relay and losses say 30w on a 12v system thats 2.5 amps give or take.

See my point, you have blown a 20, i repeat BLOWN a 20 amp fuse that needs in the region of 100+ amps. You have a dead short in the indicator system somewhere and it needs to be found.

i have blown a 10amp not a 20 lol and that fuse controles 4 indicators and the back light (not inclusing the break light)

i have just riped all the wiring out of the indicators and light and all is ok all solder is fine and all atachments are good so i know its not shorting h have removed the front to indicators and the backs work fine and so does the light so i think its just breaching the power with 4x21w plus 56led rear light

the only other thing im going to do is rip off the rear light again and make sure all is water thight

any way i have a flat tire so wont be riding it any way :/ stupid thing dosent like me :(

  3. i have just changedmy indicators but they fuse keeps blowing because the watage of the bulbs is to high i do have 10w bulbs on order but for the time been can i use a higer amp fuse as when i use the indicators it blows and the rear light dosent work apart from when breaking so i i put a 15amp or 20amp fuse in there will it work or will somthing else blow ?

so from a 10amp - 15 or 20 amp fuse the fuse controls rear light, number platelight and front and back indicators the indicators front and back are the same and all have 21w bulbs in atm but have 10w's on order as i sead so will it work or will it damage somthing elso other wise i will have to use my arms for now

  4. wups i blew a fuse while ataching my new indicators just orderd some lower watage bulbs 10w instead of 21w lol had to hack mod the indicators on to he front as the holes where to smal and the to thick so had to boar out the plastic to fit the bolts in side them to actuly manage to bolt them tight as i scratched them i may have them sprayed mat black when i have the tank done

  5. well done, nice looking bike :icon_cool:

thanks :D im starting not to like the front light thogh lol and thorght a fz1n front light would look the dogs but not sure at the moment how hard it would be to fit and then theres the cost

  6. aren't you supposed to be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years? :D, im sure with the power commander and K&N air filter its going to be a little more than 33, if i remember correctly the stock MT-03 is 44bhp?

still its a very nice bike, my instructor on my CBT had the MT-01 with heated grips

    shhh foamy its restricted

if you think im geting it restricted you can think again i have riden a restricted one and it does 75mph...... need i say more..... well i will my mate has a nsr 125cc puts out 22bhp and can do 85mph ... some how i think they are having a laff with this restriction buisnes

  7. well i have clean'd my bike for the first time after my off and gave it a realy good going over ready for the MT owners club meet next weekend

had to repace a few things that were damaged in the off.

    handlebars

    shifter

    repair hand guards

    radiator protectors

    pegs

(tank still need to be sprayed)

so i did some upgrades along the lines of oberon pegs,EP radiator grill, arow mini indicatros(wating on them), baracuda tail tidy with motrax shark light.

think im going to ask for a powercomander for chrimbo from mum and dad then gut the air filter of its breathers and so on and already have a K&N so should gain a bit of performance andsmooth things out a bit

  10. both my work mates worked the titty bar, oops i ment dance bar ,12hr shifts 4-4am they looked like shit in work today, but they said as you did fantastic time, will go back next year.

was in stratford but dident go but it was heaving with HD's and gixxers for some reson :/ my mate on his nsr 125cc looked well out of place lol aww bless him :P

  11. Hmm, i'd be tempted to try that with my bearded dragon, but i doubt she would like it...

doesnt/didnt the iguana get cold?, i'd have thought youd need to use a heat mat or something to keep her warm

do you think i should try it with my alsation? :)

  12. Took my FZ6 out for a long run yesterday 150 mile round trip....when i got home i had oil on me boot and the lower fairing was dripping with oil...the culprit was lower crankcase plug the one that is 5 inches forward of the oil level window.

Figured id nip it up first only to find the damn thing fell to pieces...apparently it was damaged at some point in its 22 year history and cleverly painted over to hide the crack in the top of the head...so i removed the offending plug and found that whoever had bodge fixed it had also used what i think is araldite to seal the plug on the inside, only thing is i only found a quarter of the stuff in the crankase housing

So the question is do i drop the engine and remove the sump casing to be sure theres no big chunks of this shite floating around the engine? or use an engine flush ( or both)...or take a leap of faith and assume that if there was anything in there its probably been reduced to particles, which would have probably damaged the engine anyway

I mean how much would a bloody plug cost? damn cheapskates!!

Ive done 1300miles on this bike in a month mostly just little runs here and there and it seems to run fine, plenty of grunt in the old gal...but out of action atm till i decide what to do.. i guess its a no boner really and for peace of mind i should drop the engine and open her up which is gonna take some time...there goes my summer!

drop the engine no doubt, it will be much more costly in the long run if there is bit floating around also could do some damage to ureself if the thing explodes ... its a no brainer realy

just get a little 125cc run about then sell it after :)

  13. It's Zakynthos. The picture was taken on the coast road as you head up north and you can just see the salt flats at Alykes in the background.

Yes Peter you are right. I'm lucky I didn't get pulled over by the Greek police and booked for that one

been there very nice i love the mountain back drop from the main town
