Hi blackhat 250, what way down would you be heading ? A1 or would A68 ? if you let me know i can plan you a route out for ease, there's signhs set out on every roundabout and every couple hundred yards from main roads surrounding. The North East Rd Owners Club are holding our Third 2Stoke Rally, Last year we had 200 people and 80 odd bikes ranging from…… Fizzes MZ’s TZR’s RD’s LC’s YPVS’s X7’s RG’s RGV’s.BSA GREEVES etc etc etc So come along, don’t book your holiday’s on this date 15th - 17th August. We have a Disco, trophy’s, a live band, (poss 2) Bouncy castle, rides out, a pub and a restaurant and of course a Burger Van. The event is held at : The Cumby Arms Heighington village, Newton Aycliff, County Durham A1[M] Junc58 A6072 Maybe a little to far ? ? Well not if you make the effort ! Last year we had people coming from Wolverhampton, Cardiff, Stoke on Trent, Carlisle, Ashford Kent, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Basingstoke. All had a fantastic weekend and are coming back this year as well. THE BIGGEST TWO STROKE RALLY IN THE COUNTRY 2008 Hosted by the North East RD Club here below is the email link for the 2008 Rally FLYER www.nerdoc.co.uk THE BIGGEST TWO STROKE RALLY IN THE COUNTRY HOSTED BY THE NORTH EAST RD OWNERS CLUB 15th-17th AUGUST 2008 ITINERY Friday AM Arriving anytime from 10am to set up tents etc. Noon. Meet and greet, get to know your neighbours, admire the bikes, Onsite bar and restaurant will be open for the early starters!! PM. 7:30pm – 12.00midnight, Karaoke-Disco in our onsite Bar Saturday AM After hang over fry up – A ride out at 11am (Around Weardale, fantastic scenery, brilliant roads, stopping off at the famous Hartside Café for refreshments) Returning around 3pm. Voting for the best two stroke bikes of various categories. PM 7:30pm Live Band Around 8:30pm trophy presentations, then band again… SUNDAY After lie in, hang over breakfast, all pack up for home at leisure. Hi there, My name is Martin Bell from Newcastle. Myself & a couple of friends have been running a RD club for about eight years with about 40 members, Anyway we are trying to organise the Biggest 2 Stroke Rally in the country. We Have Booked a place 8 miles west of Durham city near Wolsingham in a P.O.W CAMP from the second world war!! It’s in a nice position out in the countryside. We thought it would be good if there were all the bikes from the 70,s, (2 Strokes) hence the invitation to join us. We plan rides out to Hartside Cafe. There will be a disco,trophies, ride outs, fsle race from alston – hartside café, ect. There is a restaurant for breakfasts. The cost of the camping £4 per tent.
