I believe there is no such thing as a typical biker, we're all individual.

I used to pop down to Boxhill before I moved 'tup north and was always impressed with how diverse the biking scene is.

Foamy's (youngsters!!) on their 'peds, crossers, supersports, cruisers and everything in between (even 'Wings lol).

In Ryka's one day when this (really) old dude in a wheelchair being pushed by his (older) wife struggle to find somewhere to eat and everybody had a shuffle round to make space.

No pretensions, no clicky clubs just everybody having a bloody good time around the bikes, way cool.

    :)

  2. Hey Silver

    Lucky bugger......and welcome.

I had to sack the wife before I could bring the bike indoors so it could be worse.......!

  4. Hey Gav

A friend of mine had a simlar problem years ago with a mercedes seatbelt motor on a coupe. One plastic gear got chewed and the dealership wanted a few hundred quid for a complete unit.

He took it to a watchmaker/jeweller who made the gear for a tenner!

It might be worth an ask.....

    good luck

    :)

  5. hi all,

im curently looking for a tzr servo, cant find 1 anywhere!!!

its the cogs inside i need and no dealers can go that in depth into the microfiche,

will a tzr 250 or dtr/dt be the same cogs???

iv noticed theres a 3rd wire holder on the servo and there isnt on other servos.

  6. Hey and welcome to the owners club

Is it the actual pump that is damaged or just the cover?

Can we see a pic? It looks like the fzr600 pump will fit also...

    :)

  7. Sorry Womble me again

The PW80 is the same engine type and there are a couple of very cheap complete bikes on ebay, cheaper then a new barrel, might be worth a look

    :)

  8. Hey Womble

    Hens teeth time.......

You can get NOS from the states, cost is reasonable but not sure about postage?

I've had a brief trawl around the bay for YG1 and alternative variants to no avail so you might have to bite the bullet.......

    Good luck

    Ally :)

  9. Bikers make better drivers.

How many times have been out with someone when you're trying to out the emergency exit and they still haven't seen the 200 stationary vehicles!!!!

Treat everybody like they are going to kill you and you don't go far wrong. On recent threads people talking of cars/tractors etc. pulling out, if you can't SEE there eyes, they're gonna kill you!!

Ride safe - especially from thems bloody truckers.....................................................(ooppss shutting up now........................)

    Hey Jim

The parts are available from the states as others have suggested but this site may be of use: http://benefiscal.co.uk/

    Cheers

  13. Anyone know where I can get some replacement spokes (6) for the back wheel on an xt350??

    Hi Hoggy

You can get a new set from cmsnl.com (£32) (and probably from your dealer too)

They are model specific to the XT350 and also the 1984 XT250, probably easier to go new?

    Ally :)

  16. hi there i am new to this forum as you can see and i wanted to know, i have a 2rk tzr125 and it keeps using spark plugs as there's no tomorrow, when the plug fails it seems to look fine with no traces of over oiling. i am using a br9es as it says in the Haynes manual to do so.

    any help please!!!!

    many thanks

    Chris

    Hey Chris

I found a pdf manual online that shows the sparkie as a champion N82G which cross references to an NGK B105EGV. BUT I have also seen generic listings for the plug you mention on the likes of M and P?

I would suggest a walk down to a yammy dealership and see what they have listed and then reference it to your NGKs

    Ally :)
