Anyone help please, just bought a 2002 FZS 600, absolutely mint condition, but it runs un-evenly/lumpy at tickover, at 3000 rpm it clears and runs perfectly, my guess is that it has been left standing/unused for a long period of time without being used by previous owner, and that the fuel has dried out in carbs and blocked one or more of the pilot jets, if this is the case whats the best way to clear it/fix, how easy or difficult are the carbs to get off? Have put some redex in the fuel and will give it a good run to try first I guess, any help much appreciated, thanx Dodgy Dave Bristol.

Just bought a 2002 Fazer 600 FZS, and ride height seems a little lower than I remember from my last 2 of these, can anyone please help, what is the length of the standard suspension bottom "dogbone" tie rods? on mine they are 140mm from hole center to hole center, is this standard, or shorter than standard, I have a pair of standard ones from my old fazer thou and they are slightly longer, I wonder if the standard ones are the same from FZS 600 to FZS thou? Any help much appreciated, or someone measure their standard ones, dead easy to do, just need a tape measure, access is no problem, ta Also can any say whether a hagon shock is good for the rear? Are they good quality and work better that standard?
