  1. Clearly in number of sales, the enduros from 68-75, inlcuding all sizes. Virtually every long time biker has owned at least one. Still tons of parts out there, you can find the old junkers under $100 and rebuild for a few hundred. You dont need a battery to make them run. parts interchangeable among all models. the only lemons among them are the DT360 and the DT400 with the replacement cdi units near impossible to find in working condition.
  2. The dt125's the at1, 2,3 all have generators-starters.The AT Mx bikes have magnetos. Easiest way to tell, the left side case cover sticks out further. if you remove the cover, a magneto would have a flywheel hiding the points and coils. the generator, you will see the points and condensor right away
  3. Its easy to switch the forks to reverse the front brakes, or somebody put GT80 front legs and wheel on it. are the bottoms of the fork legs painted?
