So I've had this '75 xs500b for awhile now, and lost interest in it sometime ago. as you know the parts for it are hard to find so. I tinkered with got the carbs rebuilt(keh-hens). and striped a bunch of stuff off of it. anyways I was going to put it up on craigslist but thought i'd check here first. Is anyone interested in a good parts bike? if so drop me a line here or at [email protected] thanks,matt

I do have the original pan but the foam has been modified to a cafe style seat just needs recovering.

The carbs say KEI HIN. So I don't think they are mikuni or hitachi

So I picked up a 1975 xs 500b for my girlfriend thinking I could make a pretty sweet cafe racer out of it. But i am having a hell of a time fining carb parts for it. the floats in one have crumbled to pieces . so I need new floats. I found a carb kit but of course the floats do not come in the kit . does anyone know where i can find parts for this thing? Thanks Matt

I just got this xs500 and I am planing on making a cafe racer out of it. BUt first things first I need help with the vin # to make sure of the actual year and model . The vin # is 371-2109801 it is stamped on the neck . I was told it was a 1975 xs500.any help would be appreciated .Thanks Matt
