I've got a 2004 Yamaha TW 125, which needs a new exhaust. The stock backbox has rusted right through, and is beyond repair. The front section is all intact. So, I need a new rear section to connect to the front and a backbox. Sounds easy enough, right? The only aftermarket exhaust I can find is >£400, which seems a bit excessive to me. I've been to a couple of garages who can't find anything either... So I think I'm looking at some sort of custom job. I originally wanted to get some sort of generic 4-stroke tailpipe, and get a bit of custom pipework to connect it to the front section, but the specialist in my area has got a big queue of work (2 months!) so it's not going to be that easy. Has anybody customised an aftermarket exhaust for a TW (or similar)? Are there any boxes which mount and fit easily / securely for the TW? Are there are aftermarket exhausts apart from the Arkopovic one? Are there any other bikes which are similar to the TW, so I could just transplant it over? I guess that's the problem with not very common bikes... I wouldn't change it though! EDIT: Am I right in thinking the SR125 and the XT125 use the same engine? If so, would both exhaust systems technically work, if they were modified to fit the TW125? Tom

A bit more investigation shows the square light is from the < 2001 model, which explains why I don't have it. I guess it's just a matter of sourcing one now. Tom

Hey, I just got a TW125, so this is my first post... I've got a question about the front headlamp. Mine's a 2004 model, and came with the round style headlamp. I'm much prefer the dirtbike / enduro look, so was pretty pleased to find one looking like this. Is the square light from an older, or bigger model? Is it from another bike altogether? Any information about which parts I would need, how to do the conversion or where to get the parts would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tom
