Thank for all your help, managed to find info i needed, if anyone is intrested heres the details i obtained:- XJ750J XJ750K XJ750MK theses 3 are classed as a MAXIM and all have the same frame/part No 22R-21110-00-98 XJ750RH XJ750RJ XJ750RK these 3 are classed as SECA and have frame/part No 5G2-21110-10-33 the frames are both Very similar as they have same engines but mountings for seats/side panals are different. again thx for help Dan

Thanks for the response, will try to check it out, but does anyone know if the frames for all the XJ750s were the same? as this would make the search for a donner bike easier. Thank in advance

Hi, My son has just bought a yamaha XJ750 trike and managed to hit a wall bending the bikes frame (just under fuel tank. Since its a trike we are not sure which model xj750 it is as the log book just says trike. can anyone tell us , if the frames on all the xj750's are the same? or do they all have different ones. the bike is a 1981 and it seems for the next 5 years there are many XJ750's but they have letters after the number and look different fuel tanks and seats. Any help would be apprciated.
