The rear shock absorber and spring, is a very important structural part of any motorcycle, not only does it provide your comfort, it also controls its stability at speed, and the way the motorcycle reacts to the many different road, or off road surfaces. The effects from road salt, water spray, and stone chipping alone, account for the most shock damage, and over time, can result in the premature failure of the shock absorber, or at worst an accident. “Shock Tube” is a purpose made, high impact, waterproof vented neoprene tube, which encloses the motorcycles rear shock absorber. Easily fitted without the need to remove the shock absorber from the bike, the “Shock Tube” will protect the rear shock absorber and spring from damage, while maintaining the condition of the unit for a substantially extended period of time throughout the life of the motorcycle. Hi again, I have just had my first service done by 3 Cross at Wimborne near Ringwood Hampshire, they used "Silcoline Pro 4" Fully Sythetic . My bike is the ABS version (In Black), i have now done 895 miles on the clock. All i can say is when you get past 8 Thousand, hold tight as this bike is simply Awsome!! Rich.

Hi guys, check out this months "BIKE" mag, full tests on the latest naked's including my awsome FZ1 N. They tested it at full chat, and reached 159 MPH, 130 bhp and said it has the best sounding standard pipe and engine of any bike they have tested.

Hi thanks for the advise, i shall give it a go soon. I have found that the standard setup for 2 up riding quite good in fact, i have set the front pre-load to 5 rings, and increased the rear rebound to one above standard. Rich.

Hi thanks for your comment. I 2 think that standard should be fine i may just up the preload a bit to cater for 2 up riding. I havent had to try out my ABS yet! but i have heard that 3 cross motorcycles tested a FZ1 and said that they could not look up the wheels, so it sould be pretty good. Regards, Rich.
