  1. They still do drag racing, it's good down there.
  2. Hiya guys, Does anyone go to Netherfield AKA Nevvo in Nottingham on Sunday nights? There were two R6's there today.
  3. Sorry, I don't understand what you are implying? Your first post, like I'm not going to put L-plates, number plate and lights etc up?
  4. Hi, I've just bought myself a 2008 Yamaha TZR 50 and I was thinking about fitting a tail tidy because the stock back end is huge! However, I've just been out and looked how it would fit but it seems as though the number plate bracket and the undertray is all stuck together in one bit. Now I've taken off the seat to see if there are any bolts keeping it in place but I can't seem to see any. i've managed to get a few pictures off YouTube to see how people fitted theirs and they seem to have taken the undertray out and the number plate bracket but if I did that all the electrics and wiring would be exposed because that's what the battery is sitting on, effectivley. There are a few pictures below to see what my bike is now what I'd like the rear end to be similar too. Thank you in advanced.
  5. Any help would be appreciated...
  6. Could you tell me what size that number plate is please? I'm thinking of a smaller one aswell. Cheers.
  7. Here's a picture of of a TZR 50 if it helps- http://s2.bikewalls.com/pictures/Yamaha_TZ...15_1024x768.jpg http://s2.bikewalls.com/pictures/Yamaha_TZ...08_1024x768.jpg http://s2.bikewalls.com/pictures/Yamaha_TZ...04_1024x768.jpg
  8. Hi, Could anyone tell me if I can get a tail tidy for a Yamaha TZR 50? I can't see any, would one off a R1 or an R6 fit? If it has indicators built in, do I need to change some wiring? How easy is it? Just asking because I haven't really got much experience. Any help would be appreciated.

    creatine

I know a bit but not much about creatine. I'll get back to you soon.
  10. James, There are various things but to be honest it isn't really worth it. I'm getting mine soon and I'm just doing the standard de-restriction (washer out of the exhaust) -Sports exhaust- You may get a couple more MPH at the top end but a decent one like the Arrow is around £170 -Sports air filter- Not going to make any noticeable difference except it may make the bike sound 'tinny' -Racing reeds- Don't really know much about these -Uprated clutch- Again, don't really know much about these. -Sprockets- By changing the size of the sprockets you can either improve the acceleration or top end. Google it. Thats about it really except for the CDI- something you might of heard about cutting a wire to de-restrict it 'even more' if you like but this is only for the 125 I think. Don't quote me on that though. Remember as soon as you modify it you have no warranty or insurance. Hope this helps. Edit: I just searched TZR50 in the search menu- didn't know this thread was so old. The user has only had one post so I guess he's not using this forum anymore. Might be useful to someone else though.
  11. Yeah, I agree with the above. T-Cut may be a bit harsh.
  12. Hi! Ah great, I'm going out to Hein Gereck today and they have a sale on so I might be able to grab two pairs. Thanks for the advice.
  13. Hi, Don't mean to be a pain in the arse but I've had 75 views and no replies. You all wear gloves; any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
  14. I think I've found some gloves that look quite lightweight but have loads of protection. Would I be ok with one of these for now or will I need winter ones? http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...prod/561/31630 http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...prod/561/31609 http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...prod/561/31581 Futher help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  15. Hi, There are a few different types of gloves available but as the seasons' just changing which ones would be best? I'm feeling the short style summer ones would be ok for the moment but I'm not sure how much use I would get out of them. Do I really need winters' already? Cheers.
  16. Are you stupid? In what respect. There are loads of people here willing to help but we need a more detailed question. What are using the bike for, how old is it, why are you thinking of trading it in, how old are you? The list goes on. Comment back and I'm sure you'll get plenty of answers.
  17. Yeah, they do deliver mate. I live around 20 minutes away and they offered delivery for £23 including VAT! Beware, they charge a 2% fee if you pay via Master Card or some card like that because they make so little profit anyway. They'll need you to go in store to sign registration forms etc. They will put it on either an 08 or 58 plate!
  18. Yeah, limited stock from his first order/batch. Have you called him yet? They are open on Sundays.
  19. No worries. Just ring them up man! They ordered quite a few reds and they are all sold out. There is a blue one left I think but either way he's ordering more in. Are you from Nottingham?
  20. I didn't say it wasn't. I was just saying that the majority of people who have them do foolish burnouts and shit, just look on YouTube.
  21. Hi mate, I just replied to your thread- check it out. Your Mum is right, you'll probably get £1,500 if you kept it mint. I'm getting a new one for various reasons but thats for me to know.. As I said on your thread, nobody knows your financial situation so if you can afford the bike, and proper gear and the depreciation; go for it. You may get a second hand bike and have to do a engine rebuild or what ever, but you may just be constantly paying money to get it road worthy. My friend got one second hand, the guy he bought it from blatently thrashed the shit out of it- he's lucky because he hasn't had any problems, yet. Anyway, I wasn't going to disclose where I got mine from because I thought they'd all run out Nah only joking but I've put a deposit on one so it's mine.. I got it from the 'Bikeshop' in Long Eaton, Nottingham. Gear4bikers.co.uk £350 tpf&t is the cheapest I've found so far.
