  1. I've got Pilot Sports on my 02 R6 and its like ice skating in slippers, especially in the wet. Gonna look at some Pirelli's as I've heard they're the best for everyday use

i had pirelli dragon evo's on mine, and when i get my next one i'm going to fit some more

i have a 350LC with an F2 engine, and an F2 with no fairing, N clocks and LC2 yokes and bars,

also one of these pictured below

  2. The insurance company is actually AXA but I got it through MCE. First they gave me a quote on the internet of Over £2k but a girl called Emma rang me back and gave me the much lower quote. Apparently you can also barter with brokers. My mates dad got so much of off his insurance by doing this the broker made no comission :D

    Regards

you could always buy one of these, (below) bloody great bike, only selling mine for a new R6 (later in year)

drill it out and replace it, or use a claw hammer to prise it out using the screw you've already got stuck in it

  4. you need to clean that chain first, use castrol chain cleaner

i love putoline DX11 chain lube

always apply chain lube after your ride not before, the chain will be warm from friction, and will bake the lube on

  5. got a bit of a problem any help much appreciated,

my foxeye FZR600R (looks like a YZF750) the one thats basically a thundercat, with a different fairing, the wiring socket off the clocks corroded to nothing the other day, and on the loom side its fine, but on the clock side some of the wires don't colour match to the loom, the connector was a big white plug with lots of small spade connectors in, approx 10 wires going in and coming out, the connector on the loom side is numbered, so can anyone look up the sequence on the clock wiring for me somewhere??

    thanks

  6. here's my mate's suggestion as an alternative to going to the isle of man

stick that stupid bike noises CD on your player, grab a tray off piss poor beer, sit in a full bath with all your clothes on, and the shower head running, and post all your money down the overflow pipe whilst drinking the beer

if you've ever been you'll understand the similarities

thankfully i was in a B&B and my bike was garaged while he suffered!!

  7. can you help with us poor sods that have been banned? i got an SP50 on the motorway for doing more than a ton and got a 7 day ban, 18 months ago, lots of co's won't cover me!

  8. just bought one myself, supposed to be 95hp at the crank, back shock great if you get a later one, mine has a maxton on it, the confusion is that you've got what we call an FZR600R as pictured in my signature, in the US they were designated YZF600 before the thundercat was around, basically the thundercat is the same bike with different fairing/headlight and the ramair system, the ramair system can't be retro fitted as it goes through the frame,
