hi there
i had the same problem as you, except my dt was too high
the only way to higher or lower the bike is to make some new suspension links.
If you look under your swingarm you will find these.
The ones im holding are the original yamaha ones, ones on my bike are the custom ones.
The longer they are the lower the rear end.
So, if you want to make it higher all you would have to do is make the suspension links shorter.
Oh and make sure you loosen your chain alot before you put them on
hope this helps.

Very nice mate
I spy an aftermarket tail light, DEP silencer, Cemoto SM mudguard and missing fork gaiters? Should get a DEP front pipe and a set of Avon Distanzia tyres. You'll be the nimblest thing in town then
Almost got it all mate,
everything right but led indicators, lowered front and rear and big one front pipe . Oh and Alarm but you cant see that so il let you off
I love the look of the back distanzia but the front one looks very thin dont you think?

Here is my finished Dt125r 03 after lots of mods and lots of cleaning.
Hope you like it.

i have a dep rear pipe on my bike and a standard on the front derestricked and when it goes it goes.
awesome! thats exactly what im planning to do now

yeah true... the bigone would be ideal but it looks so shite i think. gianelli looks nice but as you said, they arent easily found
thanks everyone
-
hmm i dont suppose a DEP end can will fit onto a BIGONE front pipe wll it?
-
so what other expansion front pipes are their for the dt? apart from the DEP because they rust to easily apparently.
-
-
What the title says really, cant be bothered to waste money on a dep front pipe when i can just derestrict my standard front pipe and it will be about the same power increase. Wont it?
thanks.

what do you mean by 'bore ot out to 140cc'?
tks Jamie
means buy a big bore kit for it, search ebay for them. it justs swap a part of the engine for the bit you buy, which is a bigger which obviously gives you more CC's. e.g to 140cc.
but if you make to big a jump between what the bike is made for and what you push it to, your engine might start falling apart.
apart from that, you could
get it derestricted?
Buy a performance exhaust?
hope this helps.

no problem, let me know how u get on.

WELL I GOT A NEW LED RELAY AND IT DIDNT WORK, ALL FOUR INDICATORS ARE STILL FLASHING IVE HAD THE WIRING TESTED AND THERE SEEMS TO BE AN EARTH WITH A BIT OF POWER COMING BACK THROUGH IT.
THERE IS NO ALARM ON THE BIKE MY WORKS WORKSHOP HAS LOOKED AT ALL THE ELECTRICAL BLOCKS AND SEEMS TO THINK ITS A FAULT AT THE ALARM CONECTOR BUT WE CANT FIND IT, I DONT WANT TO STRIP THE PANELS OF MY BIKE..... SO CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A CLUE WHERE THE DAMM THING IS HIDING
i have just found out that my old bulb indicators were 21w and my led ones are only 2w! so i connected an extra bulb into the circuit just to drain the power and it works
so you ether have to get 2 resistors, 1 for the left side and 1 for the right side or buy a low wattage relay.
hope this helps.

having exact same problem on my dt
let me know if you find the soloution.
-
Hi there i just bought some led indicators for my dt125r and at first they were flashing way too fast and all at the same time, so i thought it might be the relay, so i got an LED relay and now they flash at the right speed but still all at the same time for both left and right.
Help?
lol many thanks.

thats a distanzia mate

Hi people.
Heres my 2002 DT125R.
Currently after some supermoto wheels for it but im a bit stuck as noone seems to make them for DTs.
If anyones got any info on SM wheels for a DTR or were to buy some hubs for a DTR so i can get them laced up it would be cool.
Thanks,
Scott.
wow thats a really nice bike mate, ive just got my dtr o3

and where did you get your seat?
thanks
-
oh right i hadnt taken off my seat and tried it yet
i will try now and give it a run around my field and get back to you weather i think it makes a difference.
