  1. Hi guyz, although I have alot of know how in car engines, I'm pretty weak on motorcycle engines. About 2 years ago, I bought a pretty roughly used TDR125 4GW, which since then, did my best to refurbish it. Lately, I have started hearing a spin-scraping sound coming from the right-hand side of the engine. At first glance, I thought it was from the crank/arm bearings, but later realized that I had renewed them only 6 months ago. Later on, I decided to check the gearbox oil and found out that it had insufficient amount of oil in it, which had turned slimy. After changing the oil, the scraping sound lessened but, made me realize that the sound was actually coming from the gearbox. So, I opened the oil filling cap and saw that the part inside it has (next to a large gear wheel) wear marks on it. By poking it with a thin rod (ofc. engine switched off ) ) , I realized that the part is actually loose and causing the decay by scraping against the outer casing. This is also the reason for the loss of power in the engine too. As I stated, I'm not too good with bike engines (but a brave one), I dont even know what that part is. But by looking at its manual, I'm guessing that it might actually be the Clutch Housing itself is loose somehow ! As I have just spent a fortune by getting the crank, rod and piston renewed, I dont really want to spend another bunch on dismantling the engine to just to fix a bolt or a nut. Is there way of tightening the end nut/bolt of the Push-Rod #1 without dismantling the whole engine ? I'd be very grateful if you guyz could give me advice on it...
  2. Hi, I somehow found a french manual for mine. I also have it as a pdf has now... So if anyone wants it, contact me. I'll mail it asap.
