Does any one know if you can turn up the two stroke oil mixture on a dt125 Im not sure what year it is . Mk 3 i think lc power valve .

hi all thanks for having me Ned a little bit of help with my Yamaha dtr 125 it is the model with the manual power valve now I have had a little mess with it I set to to fully open I think and closed had plenty of power when it was open but no power bottom end. what do u recommend servo or is there something else I can do ? thanks gaz

Hi to one and all. I'm new to this site. Bikes have been in the blood since I was 14. Let my licence lapse which is possible here(life,young family, as the story goes). I'll need to sit the test again at some stage. I tend to go for small engined bikes normally basket cases. I get them back up and running. Then they're rebuilt/restored to their former "glory". I've kept one or two but, normally, limited space in the bike shed, means one has to go. To make room for the next project. My current project is a '98 XV125 Virago. Picked it up yesterday, in a pretty sorry state, about 95% complete. I doubt very much that it's been washed in the last 1/2years. Ther…

Hi Guys (& Girls), Pretty new to bikes, used to run about on a wee tichy 50cc scooter but moved onto bikes at the beginning of the year. First had a Suzuki VL125 but that went the way of the dodo and was sent rapidly back to the dealer. Picking up my new (old) XVS 125 Dragstar tonight, so second time lucky. Was my first choice when I first started looking at bikes but none were in my meagre price range. I'll be doing a bit of refurb repair on it so might need any help that can be given. I can work the electrics but the mechanical side is a loss to me so I'm gonna have to learn. Looking forward to getting it out and about. All the best, Steph

New on here from Ireland. Just wanted to introduce myself. Picked up a good XVSa 650 (2001) the other day and will be wanting to customise/bobberise over the summer! Been looking at posts as a non-member and there seem to be some very knowledgeable folks on here who are most helpful! Previous bikes include a 1980 250n superdream project that turned out pretty well so I have a small bit of experience but would be glad of any extra assistance!

hi there everyone i'm lee i'm 32 from Telford Shropshire just getting back in to bikes after a few years out after having kids i was bought up on bikes (off road) until i was 17 when i met my love of my life the wife and have had 4 sons. now i'm 32 and decided i want to get back in to them . passed my CBT in December and theory just doing my lessons now and hoping to pass by summer to get out on the road with my old man who rides a Harley Davidson i have just bought my self the XVS 125 and finding it a nice bike don't look like a 125 so will most likely stay with XVS just a bigger one

Hi Everyone, Didnt really want to start the forum with a request for help but i'm kinda stuck on this... My XT600 was stolen from outside my house, so i brought the cheapet bike i could... Been a XJ600 from ebay 360 quid... But came to do the mirror repairs needed for a MOT and came across this problem that has thrown me completely: My XJ600 wont run in netrual if the side stand is down... Keep the clutch pulled and it'll run, let go and it stops, with the stand down... Side Stand up and it'll sit in netrual no probles... The Netrual light is on in netrual and goes off in gear. hi all i had to join this forum after buying my first motorbike last week. its a 1997 yamaha sr 125. its not in perfect condition but its a good starting point. i just wish id bought a bike years ago rather than wait till i was 32. cheers gazza

Thought would introduce myself,names charliefarlie yes i know the two ronnies etc was given it years ago before they started it by an old pal . Have several models of Yamaha includeing 2003 XJ900S divi have 2 XV 750 Viragos Plus a XV750 trike in process of being built , plus have a 535 trike and a XJ750 midnight Maxim lastly a XJ750 Maxim US import looking for a dateing certificate for it where could i get one of these please your help would be much appreciated .

Just brought me a yamaha jog r 50cc doing a top end rebuild on it as it deserves a treat once in a while lol but running into problems ive created a thread explaining problem hope to spend a long time on this forum and ill keep every one updated through my rebuild [emoji12]
