Just thought I'd introduce myself since I've been looking around here I've perhaps been a bit naughty and come on here without owning a bike as of yet but I've my heart set on a Dragstar 125 soon as I get the cash to run a CBT and buy the bike straight after (insure it etc) Figure its better that way, then I can get as much practice in before the test I'm a young 22 in Swansea tired of my car insurance stinging me for a car I barely use with no real engine, decided to go back to bikes (used to off road a little 50cc rev and go Italjet when I was 7-9 ^^ till the police came and shut us down.) Hello everyone! I'm Ash, from Kent. I own an XT125X. I have owned my xt for around 6 months. Bike is currently in for repair and wheels being changed for red saxxis wheels. Just saying a BIG HELLO to the Yamaha community online…👍🏼🏁 Just purchased and in process of doing up a TZR250 (87 model). I have fond memories of the local lads from the South Wirral areas ‘razzing’ around on two stroke RD’s TZR’s and the like. So always wanted one. Mine is an import from Japan and thankfully mostly there for me to refurbish and refresh. (Any pointers / pitfall info gratefully received btw). Will eventually get the thing registered but still a long way off…!!! So HI again Yam fans…!

Hi, Having just got nto RD's again and having recently bought 2 duffers I thought it might be useful to join a club to get some info. I have a 1976 RD400DX with a 250 motor! I also have a 1980 RD250E with a 400 motor! Both of those are in the usual 20 year neglect condition, actually I'm wondering what to do with them now that I have them? I also have a 1983 IT250J that I used to race in Enduro back in the 90's - now fully restored and gathering dust in the garage. Drop me a line on the RD's if you have any info that you think may inspire me. Cheers.

Hi, I have just bought a 1976 RD350, yellow and black, Kenny Roberts racing colours. I have always wanted an RD250E, but when I saw this RD250, with 350 barrels and pistons, I couldn't resist. Will pick the bike up in June and drive it to Spain. Cheers, Keith.

Hi, am just warning anyone else out there that is looking for a rd500 that the one listed on ebay at minute is recorded as a total insurance loss. I am on the market for a 500 at minute but do not want to pay the telephone figures dealers are asking for rzv's so this looked tempting, knew it would be a strip and rebuild job but wasn't expecting this- cost me £20 to hpi-scum*****r. rides like a beauty ha ha.
