Hello everyone. Just recently passed my A license and treated myself to a brand new XJ6 Diversion in Race Blu! Already wondering what ways I can mod it. Loved modding cars, but now loving the world of bikes. Take care and see you on the forums soon.

Greetings from Chelmsford (no Essex boy jokes please!). I've just upgraded my 50cc scooter to a YBR125 and wish I'd done it years ago! So far the YBR125 seems like a great bike, the only problem I can see is that it's developed a squeak at the back while I'm riding but I'll post a question in a more appropriate forum on that!

Hi all, Quick first post for you. I'm Mark, I've just bought a 1988 RXS100 to get to work and back instead of a car, which was costing me a fortune.. First ever bike at the age of 38, and now wish I'd got into it ages ago. Very limited knowledge of bikes, but I've done a few bits and bobs with the help of a trusty Haynes manual. So far it's had a new seat cover, gearbox oil change, new air filter, new mirrors and a bloody good clean. Needs a few other bits tidying and sorting, but bought it with a years T&T, so should keep me going for a bit. Anyway enough running on, here's some pics - Cheers ta Mark

Hi All, Just purchased a 1978 AG175 in boxes, looks good, only surface rust, so should be easy resto. It came with a factory parts manual and a supplementary service manual for a AG175h which is the next year model [cdi ignition]. All this for $80aus. This will be my first full resto, but have been around bikes since 1969 when a cousin and I built a gobike with a pushbike and a 160cc Victa lawn mower engine. wassie

Well Hi An Old man here, well middle aged at least that's bought a 1994 DTR 125 from a lad at work who had blown it up.Plan is to strip and rebuild over the winter, have already ripped all old off and replaced plastics, tank and seat with DT125x Stuff, Once everything fits right its getting stripped back down and fully painted/powder coated and supermoto converted and I will use in the better weather for work and hopefully not act my age. hoping to find a few things I need and call on others experience as there is no sham from learning from others mistakes

hey everyone! im new here. i have a 1977 LB80. just got it running after it sitting in the shed for 9 years! well its almost running... the float valve had sprung a leak and filled up with fuel. so, i actually got the fuel out of it, then buffed up the sides of the little brass float cans, and re-soldered it. and there is no more leaks! i made it cold in the fridge, then submerged it in hot water, no bubbles caused from the expansion of the the air inside the floats. i just need to find out what the float valve height is now. i did some un-necessary tweaking before i realized that it had taken on extra weight. if anyone knows where i can find this information, …

Hi, I'm new here and new to motorcycling. I have ridden a pedal cycle almost everyday since E.T. came out at the cinema and couldn't think of travelling any other way. That is, until recently when I bought a Yamaha YBR 125cc. Now I keep asking myself why it took so long to upgrade to a mechanically propelled bike. Oh well, I suppose it kept me fit all those years. Now my priority has shifted from fitness to convenience as I mainly use my 125 to commute instead of enduring those pesky night buses. My journey time has been cut from 1.5 hours down to 20 mins... Having worked on whatever cars I have owned, I look forward to doing he same with my bike, obviously with a little …

Just got a 1979 Yamaha XS400 - hoping to sort the insurance and get started riding tomorrow - really lucked out getting this vintage bike from a guy who really loved it, put money and time into keeping it in great shape. Wouldn't mind finding a shorter, more "bobber" style seat, but first things first!

Hey y'all. I'm a chic. A mom, wife and Yamaha XJ600 owner. I've only recently gotten my endorsement and have logged only the few miles I rode in my Harley Davidson New Riders Edge class. (Very expensive.) I'm hoping I can get the 600 to start and at least be able to push it down the road before I lose my skills! HA! I will be racking your brains, but I have a 35 year veteran mechanic who also happens to be my grandfather so I will try to keep the annoying to a minimum. I'm in college to be a teacher and I have two boys one 3 one 9 months. Soon I will have my very own 2 car garage for the 600 to rest in. But I think she's doing a little too much resting currently. I got th…
