Afternoon all new owner weekend just gone by, got myself a YZF600 2003 Had plenty of bikes over the years then had a spell away for about 5 yrs then got back into it this weekend with the 600. Last bike was a XJR1300sp so wanted to stay with the yamahas again really. New (to me) bike needs a good wash n wax hopefully this weekend but firstly it’s going into the shop for a new chain a sprocket and also to have the choke looked at / repaired. It doesn’t make any difference to the idol tick over no matter where the choke lever is so I guess it’s a snapped cable hopefully that’s all it is ? Im from Warrington cheshire by the way

Hi guys just joined kept seeing this pop up and thought hey ho let’s support the Yamahaclub seeing as I have a couple! Owner of 3 Japan imported Ysr50s, pretty rare in the uk don’t see many parts on fleabay and the likes so very niche, I love them and everytime I take it for it’s mot people also love it! I’m building my one with a tzr125 ypvs motor in and it’s in his last stages now to being run in, can’t bloody wait she’s gonna rip! any questions let me know! 🤘🏻

Hi , just joined , and not just the free one ! Been away from bikes a long time , 60 next year , well long story , best mate has just passed away . Leaving shed of old bikes , nothing exotic or rare sorry . Mostly early 80,s stuff all in bits as is always the way , he had been getting round to building / fixing em and never did . Anyhow i have got one , a bike i had back in the day DT175 MX 1979 , in bits looks to be complete so be great to finish one of his collection . Lots of questions on it i am sure will follow . Will post up some pics

Hi Everyone, I am in my sixties and have three bikes: RT1200 (2010) - Honda VFR F 750 (1996) and.. a Yamaha YBR125 ED (2007). I have joined because that last one, the Yam, is causing me all the grief at the moment. After a prolonged period of being stored in a cold lock up, I pulled it out and started to get it started. I am still at it a week later. Here is what I have done: 1 Ignition barrel contacts dodgy. Pulled it apart, cleaned the contacts and all good. 2.Fuel was v bad. Drained tank and cleaned it. Fuel pump u/s. New aftermarket one fitted (£21) to the existing sender unit assembly. Tank cleaned and resealed. 3. After this it. ran so I …

Hi folks, Been down in Australia for 6yrs but on my home to Scotland in a few weeks and bringing my XVS1100 Custom with me (have spent a few years modifying & tinkering with it but nothing too special, hence the reason for bringing it with me) However, as the title suggests, I'm badly in need of some tech help if theres anyone out there who can offer assistance. A friend in Glasgow asked the dealer there about a new clock dial (since I'll have to change from KM's to MPH) and the dealer said he'd need to know if it was an American or a European model because the wiring is different. This has opened up a bit of a debate down here since I've asked 3 seperate dealers …

Hey there. Names Dale, from South Africa where the sun never goes down! I have just purchased myself 1993 TZR 125 R 4JB yesterday. I LOVE IT! It has been customized by the previous owner in the sense that it has no front fairings and looks quite aggressive. I will upload a pic or too soon. On my ride home though i noticed a ticking/knocking noise coming from the motor and i am a little worried. Will be taking it for a service soon. Not sure what it could be. Anyways i have joined this forum to chat and share info and tips on these bikes in hope that i learn more as i am quite enthusiastic about them. Dale OUT!
