Hi there. Sorry I'm just introducing myself but I've been informed I have to. It's an unwritten rule. (thanks airhead). I would still be stuck if it wasn't for you. I'm David completely new to the forum world. I'm 22 from ayr Scotland. A motor mechanic to trade but two strokes really get me sometimes ha. Going to go for my bike license soon but not been on a bike for a few years so thought I'd buy a cheap field bike and get some experience but I have started stripping it and really getting into the whole restore thing. Got a few questions to ask if anyone could lend a hand. Thanks a lot David.

Hello everyone! I thought I'd join the forum as I'm now a Yamaha owner and... Well... Why not! I've been on here a few times already as googles sent me towards here and it seems like a pretty decent place for bike talk and general conversation! Just going to be a short post to say hello as I'm due to watch a film with the girlfriend. I have a few questions I shall bug you all with shortly but for now we'll stick to "Hi my name is Scott"

Hey there just saying hi, and introducing myself. Been riding for 29 years both on the street and on the trails. I've just gotten myself into rebuilding old dirt bikes over the last few years as well as maintaining the rides that I decide to keep.

Hey folks! Just thought I'd post some pics of my new (to me) first motorcycle! It's a 1987 Virago 535, and I'm loving the heck out of it. I'm sure I'll go for some more power later on, but for my first bike it's awesome! Sorry about the horrible instagram filters, my girlfriend is obsessed.

Hey there everyone! My name is Ben, or known as boots (hence the forum name) and I own a 1980 Yamaha V50, along with various other project cars and a couple of other bikes Hoping to find more info about my bike (such as workshop manuals etc) and make use of the other members advice for various maintenance tasks that may arise. At this stage, just going to keep the bike in as original shape as I got it as possible, with the only major cosmetic change being a recovered seat. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I forgot to introduce myself so here I am at last! I am a 28 year old driver I have only just past my test in November of 2014 and finally got my bike in may. It is a lovely yamaha xj6 diversion s on a 2010 plate with heated grips and crash bungs. I am hoping to improve my riding as at the minute as you can guess I am rubbish. Hopefully see you on the road, ride safe Matt Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

Hi everybody, Glad to be a member to share tips and experiences with my 2003 FZ1. I bought the bike a couple of weeks ago, as an almost beginner (I used to ride 45 years ago...) I now have put about 700 miles on it and I have enjoyed every bit of it. A really great bike! How could I have stayed away from riding for so long?

Hello Yamaha members, have to admit that this marque is new to me although I love older bikes. Had two Honda superdreams that fell apart under me, then happened onto a beautiful K100LT. Must say so far my all time favourite is my old R65. Its not fast but gets you there at a good steady speed. The XJ 900 F is a real surprise, solid for one thing and surprisingly agile, but the lights have stopped working and need to find a solution ready for bike weather. Here in France there 's no MOT test here as you all probably know but bikes get stopped regularly by the boys in blue for a look see! Were located were the best wine is made. Cheers....from freelancewrite…

Afternoon ladies and gents, Just wanted to do the noob bit and say hello on here! I currently ride a 125 Draggy which you can see in my avatar (hopefully). Similarly to a few members on here I'm looking into giving it a bit of a bobber-esque makeover which is coming along slowly but surely. Riding on a CBT at the moment, but I'm working my way through my DAS training. Although in all honesty I'm very happy with the little 125, so I probably won't be rushing out to buy a 1200 straight away. If anyone ever fancies a ride out, rain or shine, I'm based around Bury/Bolton. Always happy to offer any help, knowledge and advice if I can and hopefully learn a lot fr…
