Hi Folks, My name is Chris (Stoffel) and I am South African by birth. I have been in the UK for 9 years and have converted to British thanks to my Mum who was born in Poole, Dorset. I have been riding on and off since 69 starting with a 50cc Zundapp to FJR via Suzuki 250 scrambler, Harley 1200 sportster, Harley Fat Boy (Me and the bike), The new Tiger when the cross version arrived circa 2006 then into the UK onto a 1200GS and finally onto my FJR. I will be rejoining Basingstoke MAG. Did a great tour into Brittany in 2007 with these peeps. I like to tour with a view but not adverse to a bit of speed at the right time and place! just saying hello I'm from northern Ireland and currently own a brace of yams 1998 4vx streetfighter fz750 2004 wr450 supermoto dt175mx just bought to restore my other non Yamaha are 7 CCM 604 Rotax supermoto and a drz400 supermoto just moved house and bikes in storage till I get my garage built will put up some pics soon

Hello to all, currently restoring 88 dt125r, have owned since 2004 having rescued from a back garden where it had been stood for 7 years. Made roadworthy when I got it and always wanted to rebuild it to its former glory,. Had a medical issue this year that gave me an excuse to get stuck in. Frame powdercoated and rebuilt engine with new piston etc, wheels going to be respoke shortly and brakes need rebuilding so that's on the agenda shortly. Have had white panels fitted prior to restore and have original red bodywork stored but still not a1 condition, so an appeal if anyone has or knows of any red bodywork panels for sale but must be in excellent condition please. …

Hi. Thank for accepting me . Over my life I've had over 100 bikes of all type - currently have 2 Harleys , a Honda XBR 500 , and my g/f has a Virago 535. In the early 90s I built a custom Virago 1100. We have owned our current Virago for over 3 years without a problem, but today she was about to take it out for a run (it had already been out for a long run in the last few days). It was slow to start, with white smoke, and definitely didnt want choke. Then I spotted it was overflowing fuel from the front carb.
