Hi all, Just ordered my new XVS 1300. Traded in my ZZR 1200 against a silver XV after weeks of "Shall I, Shan,t I" Looked at your forum and the XV seemed to please the people posting, so took the plunge. Going to miss the power, especially on our annual trip to Scotland with the mates on their ZZR 1400, ZZR 1200, GSXR 1000, R1, CB 1000 and Sprint 1050, but will have a Harley Sportster and a VN 900 to cruise with. Hello, Looks like you guys have a great site. I've been a Yamaha owner for about ten years now, mostly a series of V-Stars. Currently riding an 1100 Classic as my workhorse (commuting to work). I recently purchased a 1970 R5, and was hoping to have some fun in the "Vintage" arena. Living in the mountains of Western North Carolina, only an hour or so from the "Tail of the Dragon" I look forward to swapping ideas and info with y'all. Mike

Me and my new bike and its parking spot I passed the CBT in November and then delayed because of the snow and got the bike a few weeks ago. It is 4 years old and I am the 5th owner and it has been well looked after.

Hello everyone, New member here just stopping in to introduce myself. My name is Josh and I enjoy fixing motorized recreational vehicles, Everything from vintage bikes to newer bikes and atv's that have just been neglected. I currently have in my garage a 1975 Yamaha DT400 that I picked up for $50 thats in pretty darn good condition with the exception that it is missing the Carb. I hope to gain some good knowledge from this forum as it seems there are quite a few intelligent people on here that share the same interests. Josh

NEw to the sight, biking for years. Right now trying to find an ignition switch for the 1978 DT125e yamaha without going broke. need switch and key. Any help out there is appreciated

Hi Everyone, just joined the club. I have recently bought myself a 2010 YZF R1 and am loving it. I live in Sydney and take every chance to get out and about on it during the weekends, it took a while but I have just got my girlfriend on it with me for a trip down to the Southern Highlands.....great day trip, would recommend it to any one...have also got a trip planned to Merimbula and I cant wait...
