Hello, New member who, like a lot of others no doubt, turns to you in times of strife to appeal to your better nature and superior knowledge. I have recently purchased an '89 DTR125R, but also run an 09 Kawasaki Z1000 and, occasionally (I can't fold up into position any more) a Ducati 900ssie. Hope to speak with some of your enlightened members on the 'Why won't it run properly pages' lol

Not sure exactly how this all works, but just saying Hello as I'm new here. I'm new-ISH to riding, having "mucked around a bit" on friend's bikes when I was young and come back to do it properly later. I did my learning on a 1998 SR125, and having passed my full UK license a few years back, I got a bigger bike but still keep my beloved SR125 for local round town. She's old and a bit battered.. but then, so am I! LOL

Just thought I'd say Hi from a lovely sunny Coventry I am new to biking having just done my CBT and finished it yesterday. Doing DAS so next step in a couple of weeks is on a 600 and around the Mod 1 pad. Should be fun Theory test on 13th march, have checked its not a Friday ! So yesterday I dragged the other half round a couple of bike shops to his dismay, and spotted a poor little Yamaha SR125 all dusty and sulking. Apparently it had been ridden into the shop, not literally, and the guy had just put it in the back and left it...6 months ago. Told me I could have it for £120 delivered, as he can't be bothered to mess with it. Does…

Hey all, figured I'd better join a forum as I've just got back into the riding scene as of today. First bike I ever owned was a 2000 Yz250, absolute beast of a bike but temperamental as all hell. But still I loved that bike to bits. Sadly she popped on me about 2 years ago and hasnt gone since. So today my new baby arrived at its new home. 2010 Yz450f. After the brief ride today I'm more than impressed with the performance of the bike. Its got a 500cc bore kit on it so she's got a fair punch! Anyway, only a matter of time before I start breaking things (or myself?) So im sure ill have plenty of queries for you guys. Thanks -BradZ

Hi. Just thought I'd say a few words. I think im going through a mid life crisis, just purchased a 2005 fjr1300A and love it, I've had the bike for about 3 months now but not to sure if I've done the right thing. I say that as in this time I have covered about 70 miles, I had a bike a few years ago but at that time quite a few of my friends also had bikes so we use to go out together on ride outs, things have changed now, people get older( I'm 49) and do there own thing. I live in Hinckley, Leics and the only bike club going is for Triumph owners. Going out on your own is not as much fun as with riding out as a group. I think I'll keep the bike, its not my main mode of tra…

Hi all, I'm new here and a sort of new biker. I'm old enough to have ridden 250's back in the 80s when L plates were all that was required. I had a Yam 250 custom from new back then :-) I even took part in some of the helmet law protest rallies when living down in Weston Super Mud in 1980. It's probably a common story, but a wife, kids and a mortgage meant 4 wheels became the necessity. I tried to choose the screen name MidLifeCrisis on sign up as my wife reckons wanting a bike again is a sure sign, but it was already taken so I'm glad I'm not the only one!! The term 'sad old git' apparently applies too! Anyway - have just obtained a XV1600 Wildst…
