Hi, I just joined the forum. I ride out from East London and I am exploring as much as I can. I passed my test last summer and I bought my first bike back in Sept '16, a lovely blue Tracer 700 and I have done 3k+ miles and I am loving it. As the bike I bought is a new model I set-up an owner's page and group on Facebook specifically for the Tracer 700. So if you have one yourself please feel free to join us... We plan on arranging a meet up later this summer, most likely in/around Brighton. Page https://www.facebook.com/Tracer700UK/ Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/Tracer700UK/

Hi all, I'm new to the world of forums really, so a bit to learn probably. I'm not new to Yamahas though as i've owned a few, in order (starting in 1983, shows my age mind )a 1977 Fs1E,1984 RD125Lc, RD80LC,XJ550,FZR1000EXUP,YZF-R1(1999) and most recently a 2006 50th anniversary R1 which i've owned from new and love it. I've also owned a GSXR750 and a Kawasaki ZX7R (which tried to kill me with an almighty tank slapper,so 1st and last Kwaka thanks ) the Suzuki was ok but I do like my Yamahas. I do track days and have done since 2000 and I must say that it is without a doubt the best fun I've ever had on 2 wheels... cheers for now, Paul.

My girls think I should grow a long beard and a pony tail now to go with my leathers lol. Been riding since 1981 and have always had a bike, am loving the cruiser feel and the enjoyment of not tearing everywhere (at least thats what it feels like) Thats it really - great Forum! cheers guys Trev

Hi, thought I would nip in and introduce myself. I have had my license for a few years but had to take a little break until I bought my XJ last year, I didn't get out on her much but this year I hope to make up for my little holiday. I am in the Portsmouth area (and still quite new) and not had the opportunity to explore (damn work such an inconvenience) so if anyone has got any ideas of places I absolutely must see or even just go because I can, I would love to hear them. Cheers Piggle

Hi all, picked up my FZ6 on a 56 plate this evening so thought I'd say hi. Not the first Yamaha I've owned, was an extremely proud owner of a 'Cat a few years ago, hoping I have as much fun on this one but somehow doubt it, god I loved that bike lol. Anyways it's late so will fill in the blanks on my profile tomorrow, have fun all and I'll see you on the boards sometime!!!!

Greetings to all, I just joined this forum yesterday. I've had bikes for many years starting out on a FS1E, then an RD200, then an RD400 and finally an RD350LC which I sold to a chap from Leicester. He totally restored it and takes it to bike shows. Look out for it, it's stunning. It's in the standard red/white colours reg no. X118 SUT. These days I'm on my 4th bandit.....I know, boring!! Anyway, I bought my Son a TW125. It has running problems. I have posted a tread in the 'Yamaha Workshop' area entitled 'TW125 Carb / Running problem'. Please do have a read especially if you or a friend has or has had a TW with similar problems? Any info, advice, help or where to get he…

Hi Guys... First the intro, been a long time Yam owner in fact for some 20 years now and never been without a bike. Started out with a Grey Import FZR400 Then a UK FZR400rr which had been put in a field by the previous owner I streetfightered it, fitted an FZR600 motor, Re Sprung RGV upside down forks and an narrowed R6 Seet unit.. Brief excursion with an italian pile of Poop... Supermotoed Aprilia Tuareg 350... And finally onto the current beast YZF750R - I will get some pics up soon Anyway - circumstances meant the YZF was dry docked and has been stood for a couple of years (well 5 to be exact) and I have finally started the recomisioning process.. carb…
