i recently traded my '82 suzuki gs450t and $2000 for a 2004 yamaha fz6. i was wondering if there were any things i should be warned about with these bikes. what are the weak points in design that normally tend to break or need to be beefedup. if anyone knows id appreciate the information.

Hi, Brief intro... I'm on my 3rd Yamaha now since i started riding a neos scooter at 16, i thrashed the hell out of it and it was faster than my mates and never blew up yet their 50's contantly did so this made me a yamaha loyal. 2nd was a YBR 125, good on fuel but boring as hell, that got stolen and i didn't even have cover for theft, so that was more than annoying. i'm now i'm on a DT 125 LC mk 2 that i bought the other day stripped down wire brushed and sanded all the crappy old flakey paint and rust off, repainted, fresh bolted and restored the plastics. It had apparently had an engine rebuild 35miles ago so i didn't bother touching the engine, 26miles into…

Hi I'm chris and im addicted to any toys that take petrol i have a dt125 lc mk1 100cc blaney fx quad 6.5hp Murray go-kart and am currently working on my other half to get a wr250. I'm having some trouble with my bike I bought a dt125 mark1 lc about 18 months ago, it was in pretty bad shape cosmetically seemed to run ok albiet topend was poor and start first time on the kick. When I open her up it loses power to the point of being in top gear and dropping it to 3rd just to get it moving again. Thought it could be a exhaust problem as it was welded leaking and all the rest of it so went and bought a new big one exhaust, changed air filter box for k&n style filter and I'…

Hi all I'm Harley. I've got my cbt booked for the 16th and bought myself my first bike this morning. I got a 2000 VSX Dragstar. What I'd like to do eventually is custom it a bit, I'm into the whole bobber style. I'm sure you'll see me on here asking questions all the time.

  18. Started by Trev The Rev,

I've recently bought a Neos4, so it's only 50cc and I'm limited to 30mph. But I do get 129mpg. Can anyone tell me if the speedometer is accurate? I'm hitting 34mph, but is the speedo set deliberately to read high, am I only doing 30mph when it says 34mph? Thanks Trev.

Just purchased my 1st bike in a long time. Was a rider 6 years ago on a Hyosung GT125R but to no fault of my own had a severe accident which knocked my confidence for many years. I have just re-past my CBT and bought a Yamaha MT-125 whilst I get booked in for my full bike license. At the prime age of 36 I now feel more confident than I did before. so thanks for having me here, and I’ll update with my progress as and when I can.
