Hey all! My names Shaun and im 24. Im a chef and live near Maidstone in Kent. I currently own a '11 YBR-125 and previously has an XS100 which was a project i had to stop. Ive been riding for about 10 months now, clocked 2400miles, mainly to and fro work. I plan on doing my test very soon and upgrading to an XJ6N. My dream bike would be a Street Triple R in white.

  8. Hi crew! I just found out this place existed! My very first bike was a black-on-black Honda VTR250 purchased from a dealer, second hand. It was fantastic. My next and much loved bike was a classic blue/silver Yamaha R3, which I found incredibly versatile and have praised before, even touring on it! You can read about that at http://adamch.com/great-ocean-road-trip/ I'm keen to remain within the Yamaha stable, perhaps even looking at a MT09 Tracer down the road, but for now was looking at a MT07HO (unrestricted). Love the Tracer 7, but it's not sold unrestricted in Aus, and the recent facelift model isn't coming here. So the plan was to get a normal MT07 for n…

Hi all, Just got a 2nd Yamaha last weekend, an XS750 from 1979. I already own a XS400 '77. Made the 400 a cafe racer and got some electrical issues pending to fix so I'll be riding the 750 in the meantime. I live in Miami so if anyone else local, let me know if down for a weekend ride! Cheers, Ezequiel PS. This below is my latest, this is literally the posting photo.. only other photo I got is in my parking garage and it's doo doo quality.

Hi, name is Steve and I'm from Southwest Michigan, not far from Grand Rapids. I currently own 3 bikes, an '83 Goldwing Aspencade with 67k, a '78 Yamaha XS750D with 24km and an '82 KZ1000LTD with 20k. My newest project belongs to my son's girlfriend, a 1972 Yamaha CT175 Enduro. IIRC, she inherited it from her grandfather, and it's been sitting in a barn for a while. I'll be bringing it back to the shop soon, but as I understand it will run but not currently idle, the kickstart doesn't work, and it'll need some blinkers. Lots of sentimental attachment so she'd really like to ride it, which is what brought me to this site. I'm not new to bikes or wrenching on them but haven'…

Alright all, Name's Bob, I live down near Munich and have a couple of bikes - a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE and a Moto Guzzi Stelvio. Joined up here because my daughter's doing her licence at the mo and I've picked her up an XSR 125 as her first bike. No doubt I'll be asking plenty of questions about what tyres are best or which oil should I use Cheers Bob

Hi, this is weird, as I was sure I'd put a post in here already! I'm Stiggy, from just outside Brighton in the South, I'm 39, married with 2 kids, one is 8 and one is 20 this month and has cerebral palsy. I have been riding since I was 15, and used to ride out with Annwn BC, Weiland and others around the South coast. A few years ago I bought an old XJ600 pre-diversion and Squire bullet type sidecar, so I could take my oldest out eventually. I intend on adding bits to improve his safety and comfort. I also have a CB750 chop in the garage that needs a few new valves - nothing too bad! My old favourite bike was my GS650 rat, which won a rally prize for wo…

I've recently joined up and wanted to say hi (a bit belatedly)! I owned a fair few bikes in my younger days, had a gap for a number of years and then got back into biking again about 4 years ago. I started out many years ago with a DT50, and amongst others then had several DT125s (mostly de-restricted), and a TY175 which was virtually indestructible. Currently I have a VFR800, and a KLR600 both of which are great bikes in their very different ways. I'm hoping to get another Yam soon, ideally a TT600RE and thought I'd join the club to find out more from folks, see if I could source a bike, and hopefully contribute in future.

Hi all, just a quick intro... I've recently acquired a '91 SR250, a friend has had it sitting in his garage doing nothing for the last 6 or 7 years, so thought it would be fun little project to see if I can get it running and back on the road again. I'm a total newbie to motorbike maintenance, so after a few weeks of occasional tinkering and replacing a few bits and pieces (only basic stuff), today I got the engine running (well, for a few seconds!). Still a way to go before it's roadworthy, and lots for me to figure out & learn :-) Cheers, Alex

Hi just thought I would introduce myself before asking for some advice. I have just bought a 2007 DT 125 re in black and would like some advice regarding the exhaust but will post in proper section later. I really love the bike and forgot how much fun they are when I had one in my teens ( a long time ago ). So hi to everyone and hope this is a friendly forum with people willing to give good advice as I think I will be needing it!

Hey guys. New to The Forum and am looking for some help on what this part is. I thought it was some kind of oil pressure sending unit or something but it's leaking. What is it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. https://photos.app.goo.gl/TmJY6qGfP8DZErzh8
