Afternoon Guys & Gals.. I've been browsing this forum for a while but finally decided to register! My name's Paul aka WarriorShark (Comes from the fact I support Wigan Warriors in Rugby League and Sale Sharks in Rugby Union), and I'm from the Stoke-on-Trent area. I've just bought a YZF-R125 after being on a WR125R for around 18 months. Still on the L's at the moment, but will be keeping the R125 even when I pass my test as it's a great little bike (looks good too!), but looking to an R6 in maybe 12/18 months time. I can regualarly be found at the Star Bikers Toy & Egg runs in Stoke, and I virtually live at Stoke Speedway!

Hiya chaps & chappettes. First time here in the yamaha Owners Club. Whilst I'm not yet an owner, I am going today to purchase a scooter. I know very little about it - but I do know a) it's about 1970 it's got compression, and the spark plug's still in - no spark however c) it looks OK for it's age d) I'm mechanically apt - so I should be able to get it going Some pics here: and the other side I'm not paying too much for it - the fella just wants to get rid of it. I've done it before -taken a chance. I bought this old dirt bike for $70 and got it up and running, and a classic Kawasaki road bikeand got it up and running on the…

Hey all. Just saying hello. I've had an sr125 since December - when I passed my CBT. I originally planned on using the 125 to pass my CBT, and then progress up to the DAS and get a bigger bike, but Amy has worked her way into my heart, and I think I'll keep her for a while - hence joining the forum. She's a 2002 model, and I've fitted a top box, PDoiler, and Oxford Hotgrips - the latter two triggered by a relay hooked into the rear light cluster. And that's me.

Hello, Been riding my 2010 ybr125 since may last year. Have just clocked 5000 miles. Great commuter and to learn on! Easy to clean and maintain, back tyre lasted 4400miles. have changed the plug to iridium and got 70mph out of it today was amazed. Struggled with the small mirrors at first but that only forces you to check properly! Bought from yamaha dealer on 0% finance thinking the interest rate was going to rocket, hasn't happened yet! Headlight it comes with isn't up to the dark country lanes so changed to a motovision one, which is much better! Also fitted brushguards to try and deflect the icy winds. Great on petrol and cheap to tax & insure, have loved every …

Hi, just like to say hello. Just bought a 650cc xvs Drag Star Classic it's a 2007 model in white imported from the States with 15 miles on the clock. This is my second spell of biking , I last rode in 1976, circumstances stopped me from riding but I am back at the age of 63. My brother has the same model and he is 73 I am as excited as I was at 16, cheers.

Hi All, I am a relative newbie who has been blissfully bombing around London on my YBR 125, until my chain jumped on my way home tonight. The recovery guy says I need to renew it and the sprockets. I have a natural distrust of shops & dealers and would like to be prepared. Do you have any advice on what would be the best set to get? I'm not after any performance improvement (it's a 125, there's nowhere to go) but I would like to know what would have the most longevity! Doug

Hi all Just bought my first bike. Had been learning on a Suzuki GS 450 but wanted something with a little more pep for highway speeds. Found a 92 xj600 seca and am in love with it... Love the bike, look forward to any advice one can give and am sure to have questions... will be replacing the rear shock and battery here immediately but it's a kick ass bike so I'm stoked..
