Hi all

I just thought i'd say hi. I have an 04 Yamaha DT 125 RE, I am 48 years old,

I have just started Green Laning, what a bike.

This bike is so much fun.

No problems so far. But I'm sure it won't be long before I need some help.

I Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Wayne,

Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about the age thing. There are a lot of older people still riding. Including me :D

Welcome Wayne, yes cherish the DTR, I have one also 2003 one with kickstart.

...Paul

Hi Paul the electric start is a god-send when you're worn out, exhausted, from a full days off roading.

But I will be looking at adding a kickstart as a back up.

As I have just sank my pride and joy in a river crossing in the peak district at the week end.

When my mate sends me the pic i'll upload it to my profile. I think I said damn or something along those lines? just before my head went under.

I live in Derby, I was riding Buxton way, Hartington, Three Shires, and towards the Mac Forest. I went under at a place called Clough Brook.I am new to this, so I just follow my mates. A bit out of my depth to be honest, but great fun all the same.
