Hello guys. I didn't see an introduction spot in the forum, but I need help asap. I'm in PA and I fear one of my last riding days will be tomorrow. Let me start with an intro. I'm a 26 yr old male. I am an Isuzu nut. I frequent in a few isuzu forums. I own a 1989 I-Mark and a 93 Isuzu pup and have owned MANY Isuzu vehicles. I own my 1980 175 DT along with a 1982 Honda 3 wheeler 125 bored 50 over. I'm still getting the 3 wheeler put back together. I love off roading and ATV riding. I got my 175 DT recently for $300 and it's in pretty good shape. It's missing somer lights and stuff and I'm putting some on it so I can street ride it also. Now with that aside here is my probl…

I replaced the cylinder the piston(rebuilt the top-end) and after putting it all together it started the 3rd kick. After I turned the choke off it bogged down and died, and now it won't start at all. I have done a full carburator cleaning and cleaned up the staitor because it was rusty and it does have compression(around 190psi). Still won't start .... any ideas?

Hi Can someone advise me the correct torque wrench setting for the xt660z tenere engine oil, drain plug, hand book states 30nm, that seemes rather tight. just thought id double check as changed the oil yesterday although when using a new washer, it seems to be getting tight, but its as the washers compressing. just tightened it to 25nm in the end, but obviously dont want it to come loose. any advice appreciated.

hi everyone has anybody looked into converting a dtre 125 to a 200 or 230,i realise they will have different size bores, the main thing i am thinking is,is there enough room to fit the 200,230 crank with the longer con rod into the 125 crank cases, maybe a air cooled dt175 crank, any ideas welcome, has anybody had the 125 crank cases apart and noticed how much room around crank webs for a bigger crank. look forward to hearing from you all. cheers yamahait

Hi Guys I’ve posted a couple of times here regarding my 1980 DT 175MX which I’ve converted down to a 125 by swapping the barrel, head and piston. Hopefully you can help me with this one! After running the 125 engine for a few miles I decided that the honing I had done hadn’t been enough and it sounded like I had a bit of piston slap so I decided it needed re-boring and a new piston. Job done and I picked it up yesterday. At home I looked at the piston and realised it was different from the original. It has no open ports on the reed valve side of it, and is solid all the way round other than the hope for the gudgeon pin. The make is Mitaka. Duly took it back and the cha…

Hey everybody, My names Matt. I just picked up a 1978 DT off the side of the road for free. It is in pretty good condition but has not ran for some time. I am gonna tear it down and clean it up but first I need to ask a favor, I have no idea what bike I have. I know its a 1978 by the Manufacture plate. And Its definitely a DT. But I cant figure out how big the engine is. I know, kinda silly but I really appreciate any help!

DT125R Ok anybody have any ideas of getting the bearings out of the relay arm. I'm replacing them and the swing arm ones too. Tried hitting them with a screwdriver but they wont budge. I would use a blow torch but i've just had them powdercoated so its not possible.

OK, well, the DT125 is still waiting for me to get round to doing anything with it, but I've had my hands full runnng about after the G/F who has 'ideas'! Last one she had was to restore a bike..... so she took my 750 to bits! THOUGHT I'd solved that problem getting her a little Honda Super-Dream to play with, but no! We were looking at some old pictures & vids, of me trials riding, and NOW she wants to have a go at dirt-riding.... LUCKILY the DT is to tall for her to ride..... UN-LUCKILY my beloved 1981 Montesa Cota 248, that I have had since it was just over three years old, ISN'T.... In fact, its just RATHER small enough for her to be coveting it.... So befor…

I recently acquired a 74 DT175(A?). I have a Clymer Manual which is maddenly evasive in stating the proper float level height for this carb. The Float Level table in Clymer page 86 only shows info for these models: GT Series, YZ80a, DT100A, MX100A, AT1 series (and MX), AT2, AT3, AT2-MX, ATMX, DT125A, MX125A, YZ100C, YZ125A, CT1 series, CT2, CT3, DT125A, MX175A Is DT175A the correct designation for 1974 and could it be equivalent to AT2 or CT2 or CT3? Thanks!
