Hi Guys Is there anyone out there who has bought a 2009, TDM 900 from new & can tell me if a Yamaha rear hugger was supplied new as part of the original spec of the bike? Thanks

The problem is the lock no the battery, does not lock the wheel and it should him I change all because it has the immobilizer …!!!!!

Hi Guys I am purchasing a new TDM 900 in a couple of weeks but am unable to trace a supplier of a hugger for this model. All contacts I have made say that none are made, but I have seen one on a bike, in fact there is even a TDM 900 on the net for sale fitted with a hugger. The only ones I can trace are in Greece!! All the normal suppliers have been contacted- Powerbronze, Skidmarx etc. Any help or ideas are welcome. Thanks

Does any of you guys have any idea when the TDM900 is changing model? Its basically the same as when it was introduced as an injection bike back in 2002

In a few weeks I am purchasing a new TDM 900. I am 6'1" tall & am open to suggestions as to the best screen to be used for touring as I have read a fair bit of critisism of the low screen fitted as original equipment. Any comments would be very welcome. Regards

any of you rode or owned a tdm? just wondering what they are like as i have seen a few for sale and they look quite tempting. i've heard about the gearboxes being pretty naff but apart from that not much else. what are they like performance/handling wise? any info would be appreciated...... 8)

Sorry if some of this doesnt all make sense. New to the bike world. had a top end rebuild on my TDR 125 a couple of weeks ago. After this it began to leak water. Got the barrel and head skimmmed and put in a new gasket set. Bike ran perfectly for about 250 miles after this but yesterday it started to over-heat really quickly. Checked coolant level seems perfect, not airlocked and isnt leaking water from anywhere. Noticed a black oily residue on the bracket near the chain. I cleaned this off to see if it was a fresh leak but after driving there doesnt appear to be any more leak. Pipes around the radiator are hot which i think means that the water is circulating!? Not sure if posting in the correct place due to the variant in models for the tdr....they do a monocross trails tdr aswell as road dedicated versions too.....but.......i need somebody who can tell me the wheel bearing sizes for the tdr lightburner 3sh model (spoked wheel) along with the steering/stem bearings top and bottem for the same model.....and also if the tdr yokes are wider than the dt yoke and finally if the deltabox tdr frame steering bearings are the same as the standard tdr frame steering bearings? .......this is all in vien of my dt125r / tdr125 road conversion.... Hi guys I bought A tdr125 about 7 months ago as a non runner, i removed the carb and after 3 or 4 times cleaning it trough it finally fired up. It ran fine for 5 months and i hardly did anything to it, then one day the 2 stroke pump stopped working and i came to a abrupt stop, yep you guessed it the piston picked up in the bore and i had to strip it down and get the head skimmed, new piston and rings (bearing, gaskets etc...) This was the first time i have ever stipped a bike apart ( I am a car mechanic though)but thought well whilst i am doing the top end i might as well clean up the bottom end, and replace a few gaskets and new nuts and bolts throughout. I sold the YZF today, I dont know whether I'm happy or sad, I had a few plans for it if it hadn't sold, oh well. Well I wonder what I'll end with now, still looking for the FJ12 mind you, but there's nothing for sale. I did call up about a FZR1k streetfighter (and before anyone says anything), it might have the flattish bars or it, plus he might not have raised the seat rails. But I guess time will tell what I get.

Can you get a replica of the exhaust on the Yamaha M1? and where from?

Greetings to all, I have to ask about reinstallation of the metal slide inside the lower fork tube and around the upper fork tube on a 1995 FZR600r. There are lots of places that talk about rebuilding the front forks, but when it comes to reassembly, no one ever mentions that part. It is on the parts drawing, and it came out with the upper fork tube during disassembly to replace the oil seal. Any and all help is appreciated. Best regards, Max

Hi - well after ditching my R1 because I finally had to admit is was just too uncomfortable to ride in town for more than around 20 minutes (I live in London) - I got me a Fazer 600 (08 version) - which is a very nice bike but has a few key things I dont like - mainly how tricky it is to ride smoothly off from the start and clunky gearbox from first to second but mainly - NOT ENOUGH POWER - maybe I was spoilt with the R1... So I had a test drive on an 06 Fazer and liked it. My question is - is the 07 or 08 fazer significantly better in any way because some people seem to say it is - but if I go for an 06 version I will of course save a bundle. Any help appreciat…

It is now time that i replace the FZ600 with something a little newer .I want a bike to commute to and from work each day , then on a Wednesday night go to the local bike meet (lotsa drag racing up the dual carriageway and country lanes with the odd wheelie attemptthrown in for good measure) then theres the longer runs on the motorway and going to meets a little further afield.Oh and then theres the early weekend ride with my 6 year old daughter thats the calm ride .Ilooked at a Suzuki TL1000r but think maybe just alittle too different, checked the insurance and cant do thr r1 thing so i thought of the r6 ,can any of you r6 owners give me a clue how fast top end ,what are…
