hi, i've just finished restoring a mk.2 rd125lc it's all standard apart from a micron period exhaust, i replaced the the standard 195 jet with a 210 as a starting point but it seems really sluggish before getting to the powerband i.e at low revs it doesn't want to pull unless you drop it down a gear or two. does anyone have any ideas on the correct jet size?

I have a Californian model fzr600 which I purchased K&N double cone air filters for. The bike obviously needs re jetted or tweaked as a result as it is going like a bucket of s***! Just looking to find out what jet sizes I should get or can i adjust existing carbs in anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I wasn't detailed enough in the previous post. I didn't mention year, or type of bike, or shocks. I need the information on rear shock absorbers. If i go with the non GAS shock from HAGON will it work? Does anyone know. Hello everyone, I bought and FZR 1000 this past year and the shocks are completly thrashed. I really need help getting the shocks fixed. I looked up a few and I am not sure what options are fisable. It seems the best option is the OHLIN shocks. http://www.oncycles.com/browse.asp?departm...ory=sfy_fzr1000 This is going to cost me 739.00 plus tax. However i saw another company Hagon produces a non gas shock and i am not sure if this absorber wil…

Morning everyone. The rear shock on my FJR 1300AS is leaking after just 1538 miles. My bike is 118 days out of warranty and so I asked the cost of a new one. A new shock is £5149, I was staggered. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hey, am new to this forum so i'll try to give as much detail as i can. I've just had my 600 mile service on my XJ6S and never really had any problems with it until after this. I brought it home fine on the motorway but when in the cold or wet mornings or on first starts during the day, the back wheel steps out quite a lot when i brake. Could they have increased the strength of the back brake without telling me, could it be just the cold tires mixed with the rain in Glasgow, could i have just hit a bad patch of diesel on the road (Although it was stepping out when braking in a straight line quiet a few times? Am a new biker and never really experienced this much at al…

G'day all, Does anybody out there have evidence based figures on the difference in rear wheel hp figures when running a 525 chain and sprockets compared to a 530 setup? Same bike, same ratio, same dyno, same day. Thanks Paul.

Well, I'm a Uk citizen, so i have to wait till im 17 to ride a 125cc bike; I've been riding a DT50MX for a few weeks, and ive decided to keep this till i am 17, so I can sell it and get a big lump of money My Max price would be £1500, absolute maximum, as i'll have the bike for 4 years and done direct access course. Birthday on June 03 2009 I like Cruiser + tour bikes, but im not very sure what the difference between them is. It's for commuting to college every day (9.6miles each way) all along main roads. What bikes would you reccomend? ~Dufferz PS, I quite like the CG125.. any thoughts?

Hey all, Just a quick one bought one of those dan dan GP extreme exhausts for my FZ1 and now i need to remove the stock which involves taking out the exup valve . any one know if this will have drastic effects on the bike ? and will i need to buy a power commander once the slip on is fitted for re-mapping? Also what a surprise it didn't come with all the fixtures , no exhaust mount or tension springs . And after emailing them 4 times now finally got a reply saying there in the exhaust ..... which there not! so anyone know where i can pick some springs up ? Cheers Dan
