New to the forum and hoping somebody out there can help me out... Had a 82 Seca years ago I purchased new back around 1984-85. (excess inventory). I had a Kerker exhaust on it (loved it) and trying to find another. I'm coming blank on finding any leads to one. Does anyone have any ideas or leads on where I might find one for a 81 Seca XJ550R? If it needs a re-chrome so be it. I'll just be happy to find something that can be refurbished at this point (without major damage). Thanks

I'm thinking about buying a 04 r6 that has been lowered by 2". The owner said he has the original dog bone to bring it back t stock height. Is there something I need to worry about a bike that has been lowered before?

my wife can't touch the ground on her FZ6. I'm told the front fork tubes can be raised up some, the rear suspension softened, and foam carved out of the seat. Does anyone have any suggestions on what can be done?

I've got a yamaha 100cc lt2 that I've been riding as a trail bike since I bought it earlier in the year. I've recently decided to save up and buy a street bike but have recently started to wonder how hard it would be to get a title for the lt2. The former owner never had a title for it and he has had it for at least the past 10 to 15 years. I'm just very unsure how to even get started to looking into getting a title for it and if it would be worth my trouble at all. I know things like this vary from state to state, so I live in va if that helps with any possible tips. Thanks!

on my 2000 YZF R6 as i ride with dipped headlights on but main beam seleted off, the blue main beam warning light comes on. it is only dim, not how it lights up when main beam seleted but still noticeable. it varies in brightness but has no responce to throttle postion. when seleting main on and off all works ok. i have been told it is possibly water ingress into my clock but dont want to start removing clock or anything yet as still new to motorbikes and dont want to start something i may not be able to finish. please please help....... I don't understand this you know! They pick up on a quite a few negative points... No centrestand....the original Fazer had one. Lumpy at low revs round town.....the original Fazer is the smoothest bike I've ever ridden at low revs. Brakes not up to it and are only 2 pot calipers.....the original Fazer had the R1 4 pot calipers. No storage under the seat....the original Fazer has. Difficult to get a good foothold on the sidestand......the original Fazer was no problem. No bungee points.....the original Fazer has. Tall gearing......the original Fazer is spot on. Dimpled seat that holds water on it.....the original Fazer hasn't got this. Notchy gearb…

Hi guys, I know there is a recent thread about tyre choice, but i didnt want to butt in on that one... I bought my r46 fitted with a pair of Michelin Pilot Power 2 cts front and rear. The previous owner of the bike ( a good mate) swore by them. Im due for a new rear tyre and the front has plenty of life left in it. My question is how much should i be looking to pay for a rear including fitting, and should i replace both front and rear at the same time? The front still has loads of life left in it...Im intending to do some track days this summer, so i think i will go for the 2cts again. A good choice? Also one final thing, does anyone else have rattly front bra…

Hello and this is my first post! Just bought an 03 R1 and I live and work in Saudi Arabia. Exhaust noise is less of an issue here than in the UK! My bike has a (loud!) Micro exhaust. I'm told (and in ads I've seen for this system) that you do not need to alter the ignition/fuelling. However I'm not convinced, but I don't have access to a dyno. Has anyone run this exhaust without any problems?
